The evidence that they broke the law is there, but there was no intent.

I'm gonna try that excuse in the future.

We knew this would be the result. She committed a felony.. but hey... no precedent so don't charge. [eyeroll]

She will be president. No way they let her lose.

"They"???? You mean the American voters? Or are you implying that there is a huge government conspiracy to throw the presidential election of 2016????? You sound like the Al Gore supporters in 2000.

He's not a prosecutor. He made a decision that is not his to make.
Really? What felony has she been convicted of?

Sounds pretty convicting to me...

"Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.

For example, seven e-mail chains concern matters that were classified at the Top Secret/Special Access Program level when they were sent and received. These chains involved Secretary Clinton both sending e-mails about those matters and receiving e-mails from others about the same matters. There is evidence to support a conclusion that any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton’s position, or in the position of those government employees with whom she was corresponding about these matters, should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation. In addition to this highly sensitive information, we also found information that was properly classified as Secret by the U.S. Intelligence Community at the time it was discussed on e-mail (that is, excluding the later “up-classified” e-mails).

None of these e-mails should have been on any kind of unclassified system, but their presence is especially concerning because all of these e-mails were housed on unclassified personal servers not even supported by full-time security staff, like those found at Departments and Agencies of the U.S. Government—or even with a commercial service like Gmail."

I didn't intend to run over the guy while I was drunk, but it happened. Oh it's ok, no reasonable prosecutor will indict over this, we'll let you by. Slick Willy and Slick Hilly.

[roll]In true Clintons-are-evil-and-deserve-to die fashion, this latest scandal has evolved from Benghazi to emails and no crimes were committed. Now, the wingnuts will move on to the Foundation. No vast right wing conspiracy here, is there?

I told everyone a year ago that she would not be charged. There never was a "right wing conspiracy" to get the Clintons. The FBI made the decision to investigate possible wrong doing. Its interesting that they did find proof that she is guilty of piss poor judgement.
The fact is,according to the FBI, that 110 emails in 52 email chains found on Clinton's server contained information that was classified at the time they were sent or received. I believe that is the claim that most of Hillarrys antagonists were claiming all along. Looks like they were correct.

As I said just last week, she'll be indicted as soon as Colin Powell and Condi Rice are. They each did the same thing-just not as much. Of course some ignorantly think it's about the numbers-not the actions. Bottom line in all this is nobody who supports her will find anything she did to be so overwhelmingly bad that they will withhold support. Conversely, those who think she's satan's daughter will still think she's evil.

Neither Powell nor Rice had their own unsecured servers, nor did they use unsecure non-governmental email exclusively for all communications. Totally different. And, to my knowledge, neither transmitted and received top secret email from their personal non-governmental accounts.

Fine, indict them as well if the evidence is present enough to do so. It certainly was in this case.

There was never any evidence that Powell or Rice received or sent any classified or top secret information. As Comey said; Clinton received and sent classified and top secret information. Eight email chains contained "top secret" information. 36 chains contained "secret" information. Eight email chains contained "confidential" information, the lowest classification level. "None of these emails should have been on any kind of unclassified system," Comey said. Those that support Hillary like yourself will continue to do so.

since you say this is a partisan issue, do you think she compromised national security to the point that since she has a D by her name it's no big deal to you?

Big difference.......as Comey detailed in the Clinton report: From the group of 30,000 e-mails returned to the State Department, 110 e-mails in 52 e-mail chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received. Eight of those chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent; 36 chains contained Secret information at the time; and eight contained Confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification. Separate from those, about 2,000 additional e-mails were “up-classified” to make them Confidential; the information in those had not been classified at the time the e-mails were sent. This was NOT the case with the Powell or Rice e-mails. Are you trying to tell us that Clinton is so stupid that she did not know she was receiving classified and top secret information?
