> “do more research before you come with nonsense”

> doubles down that he’ll be top pick because an article says so

Show me an article that says he won’t get drafted.

I’ll be here waiting. All. Spring. Long.

kong said he wouldn’t make it to the League. I show numerous reports that project him as a first rounder.

This stuff isn’t that hard. Keep trying though. I enjoy it

I’ll show you an article from your exact source that thought Penix was going to be a 2nd rounder.

Milroe won’t be a top 10 pick. He won’t even be top 20.

I’m asking for your opinion, not a clickbait articles opinion. Where do you, @HUSKERBILL, think Milroe will be drafted?

Nebraska, mich, osu, usc, all have done their job for the B1G...indiana and iowa failed...
hopefully Illinois, wash and penn state can do their job...

this is about building the B1G brand, the sec can mean more but the B1G should mean the most...
this means more money and more chance for future success.
**** Bielema, hate his coaching tactics of bring in players late after a couple have came in the game.

Saban retiring made the whole SEC worse.

There’s no boogeyman everyone has to compare themselves to and they have largely let their guard down.

Saban kept the whole conference on their toes and ready to compete.

They also found that out when Bear Bryant retired but they found the next great coach after a few strikeouts. We are still looking after 25 years.
Bama went a long time too. They went with that Shula kid for crying out loud.

You think Alabama should be as motivated for this game, with transfers, as they would a playoff game?

I mean, I get what you’re saying but reality differs. They’re playing an unranked game
Yes, obviously.

Players should always be motivated to put great film out there as it directly affects their future earning potential.
Remember when Nebraska opened the year beating the **** out of Washington, got shafted and went to a meaningless bowl and got dominated by the same team they beat by 50? I think it was 2010
Yes.

If memory serves, we collapsed against Oklahoma in the B12CCG and came out unmotivated in our bowl game.

Both of those were negative reflections on Pelini, and the team as a whole.

I think he will be DRAFTED and that’s the entire point of the debate between Kong and I.

Kong said he wouldn’t make it to the league. I said he would. Since then I’ve shown him (and you numerous draft projections showing him as a 1st rounder. Not one projection shows him as anything other than that from what I’ve seen.

Me showing those just makes Kongs “he won’t play in the league” look ridiculous.

But the entire debate was IF he would make it to the league. That’s it.

And he will.

Doesn’t matter where I think he gets drafted. That wasn’t the point of debate.

Who is really surprised? Tell you what, if Saban was still the coach Bama would have been in. Dude got the benefit of the doubt way too many times. Should only have 3 titles but the propaganda was behind him.

Yes but realistic. It would take a ridiculous amount of energy and motivation to get a team up for a let down bowl game.

However. The B1G looks really good regardless of motivation. Michigan was playing a lot of back ups

If Saban was the coach they would have been one of the top 6 teams because they would not have fallen like they did this season.

A ridiculous amount of energy? That is part of the HC’s job.

If he can’t do it, he’s not very good at his job.

Donald Trump GIF by Election 2016

It was coming, Saban could see it, and he jumped ship. He had no control of LANK and decided to let someone else land on that grenade.

Regular season games matter more that the tampon bowl Alabama just played in. That coach was just in the national championship with Washington the year prior. He’s a good coach.

Bama is getting worse, not better. It is not like we did not know this was going to happen. It happend to NU, it happend to FSU.

Bama went from a hardass coach to a players coach. That doesn't work well.

Yes, I’m sure if he told those who write his checks “think I’ll pack it in for the bowl game, 9 wins is plenty” they’d agree

That not what I’m saying. It’s just hard to overcome the disappointment of playing in a game that doesn’t matter when you had the hopes of playing for the big one. It’s like ending up in the NIT when you’re on the bubble. Just pure deflating

However, maybe the SEC was entirely overrated and they gave it their all and just lost. Maybe the B1G is that much better.

While I get what your saying...does that also mean that they were also deflated while losing to Vandy, Tenn and OU?

Nah, I said the regular season games mean more than the ***** bowl or whatever it was called. Honestly watching the games today the B1G is more physical than the SEC.

Michigan had a high number of opt outs and lost the qb for the 2nd half. Looked to me that Alabama did not like the physicality. Sec and bama should be embarrassed

Seemed to me their QB was schemed up and couldn’t get set to make good throws. Great job by Michigan. I think Milroe lost a lot of draft stock today and he was already heading the wrong direction. Alabama defense played well enough to win. Milroe looked like Jeff Simms the first half and couldn’t get in the end zone when it mattered

So the regular season games that mean MORE...is when Bama performed even worse??? When it meant more to them?

Ha!

I mean, I get what you are saying, I do.

I just think it is safe to say that they sucked this year and that they will 100% run that coach out after next season if they are not in the playoffs.

Miraculously Saban bailed right when NIL and the expanded playoff happened. Coincidence, I'm sure.

It is a lot easier to win it all when you start in the final four AND everyone can buy their teams.

What that dude Shane Gillis made that "joke" about Alabama Jones buying players and Saban got mad but not super mad, but then went on the Pat Macaffey (No clue what his name is) show to STILL rip on Gillis...it let EVERYONE know that when Saban said he had "integrity" what he really meant was "I don't want my legacy tarnished because we bought the hell out of players"
