It's not, look who posted it. That guy is a clown who has stirred up **** at every turn and then moved on to the next identity. He used to go by "HuskerJuan" and pretended to be a Hispanic grad student.

But still, Satt should be gone because of his coaching. Not because of this fairy tale.
wow, I didn't know that...I heard about this Juan charator before...think he causes trouble on twitter?

I have a hard time taking this guy seriously when he says EJ outplayed everyone in the spring of '23, and EJ had 3 carries for 6 yards in the spring game. Yes, Satterfield sucks but this dipshit is clearly talking to EJ's Dad. I couldn't care less.

What did he say?
He said Satt basically has a personal vendetta against him that results in him not playing. Even if true, Satt's not in charge anymore and the current OC who everyone agrees knows WTF he's doing has EJ as RB1. Why quit now?

I believe that.

I also believe Rhule sold him a bill of goods last offseason, which is the actual reason for him seeking opportunity elsewhere.

Who knows maybe this will be good for us. Just hope he doesn’t have any friends still on the team.

We have enough turds in the Rhule-Aide bowl

Oh well at this point. Dana will decide how hard to try to keep him or if he can get someone better in the portal. He deserves far more deference than the previous OC and current RB coach. Dowdell is not an all around back and has limited capabilities, and so we need someone like EJ or better. What we do know from two seasons is that the old OC and RB coach badly mismanaged the RB rotation and that reflects on Rhule.

Every football team in America has unhappy guys who will tell you all day how they've been done wrong. You're already on record that EJ is replaceable, as am I. Looking forward to finding an alpha at RB, I haven't seen one on the field for Nebraska in a long time.

EJ’s beef with Satt, if it actually exists, is now a moot point. Does EJ Want to play for Holgerson, the guy who expanded his chances in the last few games? Also if he is out there flapping his beak, it makes it much more difficult should he decide to exit the portal back to Lincoln. And quite frankly, he’s a nice player, but he certainly isn’t an irreplaceable one.

It’s not exactly moot when satt is still in the building

Like I said earlier, it’s hard to gain back trust and Rhule is much likelier in the crosshairs than his handpicked, disgraced laughing stock longtime friend and TE coach

Well at least now we know where you get your takes on life. Yellowstone.🤠
Dannen = Costner
Rhule = his walked all over beta paperwork doing son
Dana = Rip (hopefully)

Disclaimer - I haven’t watched the whole show so if any of the above conflict with my on-record opinions of our coaching staff I hold the right to disavow

One of my former employees worked for Costner at the Midnight Star years ago. I stopped in to see her with the kids in tow and she said IF we had been there 20 minutes earlier Kevin would have played a game of 8 ball with me. She was no looker but she loved the guy. Said after they closed down he would take the staff out gambling and drinking. About 10 years ago out in the Blackhills I had some people come up to me and they were sure I was Costner. 40 years ago I was mistaken for Chevy Chase RollingLaugh Now my older brother looks eerily like him

Why is there drama every freaking year with this program. This isn’t just a Rhule thing. It has been happening for years. So annoying

This is what is posted on his YouTube channel: "Full disclosure: Matt Rhule requested that I delete the Emmitt Johnson video for not wanting leaks within the building about his staff. I respected his wishes and took it down. Take with the information what you will."
And now the video is gone. Shocker.
Carriker confirmed the report in so many words.

The whole situation makes Rhule look worse if at all possible.

What happened? He didn’t set himself apart in practice. That’s the bottom line. This is a hatchet job and I’m certainly no fan of Satt.
If you take any stock in what Damon benning thinks, he said multiple times that EJ shoulda been playing more based on practice. Well before the portal stuff or the last three games.

For all we know they were already planning on giving someone like Nelson most of the carries in the bowl game. Rhule already said he's treating the bowl like the first game of next season. If EJ spent the last week seeing Nelson getting more carries with the 1s then his departure is understandable. I personally can't wait to watch the bowl to see some of the younger guys on the field.
This Nelson guy is quickly turning into a legend. I don't remember ever seeing him play. Our program must be turning up the heat. We stopped waiting for spring and started hyping guys before the bowl game.

The reality is that EJ is a good running back but there will be several good running backs in the portal. NU Has a good young QB and an excellent veteran OC. EJ could be replaced by a better version of himself.
Maybe, but if you look at what EJ was doing those last three games in particular. He looks like our best RB since Ameer Abdullah. If you go by the past, I don't think we'll find a better back. Having said that, it's not like Emmitt was Tony Dorsett so he can be replaced with someone who would be pretty similar.

No he didn’t. His claim that EJ felt he should have been playing more, felt disrespected, and clashed with Satt. Is a FAR cry from this idiots claim that Satt showed up drunk to practice and told the kid he fvcking hated him.

thats what I thought..emmit seemed to have everything, except that last thing that makes it pay big, break away speed....
dowel impressed folks with that he could hit the hole with more beef...
it seemed weird how they would go back and fourth with them 2. I guess the we backs thing works, but I think it makes it more difficult for a rb to develop completely cause he might be looking over his shoulder instead of full steam ahead.

I'm sure rozier and lp believed they were the man...and put pressure on themself to be da man..even though they had legit competitors on their heels for the position

Ok, he's just leaving because he wasn't given enough playing time?... Except that variable changed. Carriker even mentioned that things were said and done at the end of his podcast. If you didn't listen to it in it's entirely I suggest you go back and listen again.

That's confirmation enough for me, however you are welcome to be skeptical.

Carriker is saying the same thing and he doesn’t deal in hyperbole.

Doesn't this just back-up with what most of have expressed. Marcus Satterfield is a liability that the Huskers cannot overcome. It is not just that he is inept, he actually turning off players.

Nobody seems to be entertaining the possibility that Holgorsen isn’t that high on any of our running backs, including EJ, and may have let all of them know that new guys would be coming in. Heck, he may even have encouraged EJ to transfer out, or at least did nothing to prevent it. Yeah, DH gave EJ more playing time but so what? His chief competition was a lumbering elephant.

I'm hoping with holgerson and his receivers coach we see some development in top houston players coming onboard.

I listened to it. If that is confirmation to you, it is because you want it to be. Juan is a fraud that knows nothing. Which is why the video is gone. EJ left because he was in his feels about his PT. Some agree with him, and think he’s justified. It is what it is. But this other nonsense is made up drama for the sake of drama.

I didn’t hear him say that Satterfield showed up drunk to practice. He said something about coaches showing up late or drunk to practice in the past, but he didn’t mention anyone by name.

“Wilson Dittman” absolutely said that Satt showed up drunk to practice and told EJ he “fvcking hated him”. Said it was in front of numerous other players.

But instead of anyone collaborating his nonsense, the video is now gone.

I agree that he said that Satterfield told Johnson that he “fvcking hated him.”
