If he was injured he would be showing up on the unavailable for game listHe might put us at risk of scoring too many points.
We’re already exceeding the goal set before the year to barely crack the top 100 in scoring. yay
My honest guess would be injury or performance in practice. He’s already burned his redshirt, right?
He does look smooth out there, but there’s also blocking, etc.
Has he burned his redshirt? If so what a waste.
Has he burned his redshirt? If so what a waste.
No he hasn'tHas he burned his redshirt? If so what a waste.
If he's not injured we would not want to overwork him as a true freshman. He might put us at risk of scoring too many points.

He couldn't be any worse than what we've had. Unless it's some kind of discipline or grades issue, I really don't understand why he's not playing. Same with I don't understand why IGC can't see the field at the WR position. He was decent the one year he actually got PT, and I don't remember blocking being a major issue with him. That whole group is just a mess. With WR blocking being a problem, would Malachi Coleman help?
So many options and yet we keep sticking with the same old **** that doesn't work.He couldn't be any worse than what we've had. Carter has played in 8 gamesESPN game log shows 3 games played.
If accurate assume we see him in once more this year.
Coleman has 4 games available so be interesting to see if he is in rotation here on out.
Given that banks is average in passing game at best and couldn't block a middle school player in space hoping we see him next week, atleast in blocking role.
Carter has played in 8 games
I looked on the PDF that has Husker game and individual stats and couldn't really see anything that Malachai had done this year. That makes sense. Game log must be tied to receptions.
If blocking was a requirement we wouldn’t have anybody receivers out thereHe might put us at risk of scoring too many points.

So you are making the assumption the options would be better? But yet you don’t really know?So many options and yet we keep sticking with the same old **** that doesn't work.

I hope that young man figures out a way to get and stay healthy as well as the drive it takes to give himself to realize his potential. If he were healthy, motivated and wanting to improve his future, he could be a total effing matchup nightmare for DB's.
I'm really pulling for him given the way his life began.
If you go to your roster on this site, it shows 5 games, go the the game log shows results in 3 games.Carter has played in 8 games
1. He's only played in 3 games, so he can still redshirt this season.Has he burned his redshirt? If so what a waste.
I looked on the Husker site. Obviously, one of these logs is wrong. If you go to your roster on this site, it shows 5 games, go the the game log shows results in 3 games.

That might not be bad. But satt would probably throw out of a no receiver set and then say he'd like to try next game to establish the run gameIf blocking was a requirement we wouldn’t have anybody receivers out there
He knows where to find Deion. He is RS...I would not be shocked to see him in portal
I suspect there’s something else limiting Coleman. Academics?ESPN game log shows 3 games played.

I'm just going by the Husker website that has all the stats.I don’t remember seeing Nelson play yesterday.
Banks blocking is costing him $$$, tape don’t lieESPN game log shows 3 games played.

Running screens against cover 2 looks should be costing Satterfield $$.Banks blocking is costing him $$$, tape don’t lie
He was only rated the #74 WR, so not that much money to begin with.Banks blocking is costing him $$$, tape don’t lie
The ability to play football is limiting him. Great great athlete but not a difference making football player yet. I went to more than one East game when he was there where I didnt hear his name the entire game. A guy with that frame and that speed should have dominated Nebraska state football. He didn’t. At least one of the major newspapers didn’t even name his First Team All State. I hope he gets better. Again - great athlete.I suspect there’s something else limiting Coleman. Academics?
We've seen those options play before. And they add something we haven't seen this year. I like Banks and Neyor in certain matchups, but if they both can't block, it's really handicapping our offense when they're both out there. So you are making the assumption the options would be better? But yet you don’t really know?
It’s like the 2nd team QB, he is always a star and should play more.
So coach, tell us who is better and should be out there. You painted yourself into a corner. We've seen those options play before. And they add something we haven't seen this year. I don't recall either IGC or Coleman being as bad at blocking as we've seen from the starters. They also were able to get open no less frequently. Again, we keep banging our head against the wall expecting the same damn thing which hasn't worked to work somehow, but of course it doesn't... Maybe it's time to try something different for once.So coach, tell us who is better and should be out there. You painted yourself into a corner.
So coach, when you gonna tell us after I painted you in the corner last week?So coach, tell us who is better and should be out there. You painted yourself into a corner.
