FSU has serious problems….should drop clear out of top 25 after 2 games.

I think UGA stole their soul 😳

Last week I was thinking Ga Tech must be pretty good. Now it's changed to I wonder how bad FSU is.

Or every team FSU plays is national championship worthy

FSU opens the college season in Ireland losing to Ga Tech with the whole world watching, and tonight getting bounced by Boston College, again, as the only game that everyone is watching. Ouch.

I had the fortunate opportunity to see Brian Baugartner (Kevin) and a few off the other Office actors speak at a comicon panel in Pittsburgh several years back. Came off as a really cool guy. And unlike Kevin very intelligent, lol.

He’s a damned good college coach.
He sure as hell is. I know there might be some issues with him and I am glad we got Rhule and not Obrien. But as someone who lives in PA and had a front row seat to the total **** show that was PSU football after the Sandusky scandal, Paterno firing/death, and NCAA sanctions, what O'Brien did in keeping PSU competitive and not letting that program die was amazing. And very few folks out here blame him for bolting to the NFL after only a few seasons at PSU. Because he was very upfront from the beginning that if the NFL came a calling that he would most likely leave. Everybody knew he was a transitional caretaker coach from the get-go.

And as for Florida State I think this only proves, once again, that it takes more than a roster full of 4 star athletes to make a successful team. Coaching really, really, really matters.

Weather, women, beach 30 mins away ....just off the top of my head.
A good CFB player isn't spending much time at the beach. Dozens of schools that meet the other requirement. And as far as weather, the humidity looked unbearable last night. Yuck.

BOB would have been a fine choice. Pretty sure i'm glad we ended up with who we did instead, few more games need to he played before i'm all in on that statement, but it feels like we made the right call today.

History has shown that coaches moving from successful stints at the AAC and sub Power 5 level and move up to the big boy league all fail within a few years.

Charlie Strong, Justin Fuentes, Scott Frost, MIke Norvell, Willie Taggert, Randy Edsell. When they crash, they completely crash and burn.

A few like Chris Pederson, Tom Herman, Luke Fickell and Geoff Collins did well, or at least haven't proven incapable of being good at this level. Matt Rhule can be considered in this group with his move from Temple to Baylor to the NFL and back to Nebraska. I'm sure there are other examples.

I mostly look at that first group which resulted in huge failures at the U of Texas, Nebraska, Oregon and Florida State as some pretty big jobs they were incapable of handling.

Would Urban Meyer and DeBoer and Hargod fit the criteria you listed?

And I am sure he told BC the same thing. If the right NFL gig comes calling he will take it.

Florida State was never very good. They were slightly better than the majority of the G5-tier conference they are in.

There is not a single P5 conference outside of the ACC that they would’ve won last year, let alone played in the championship game of.

Norvell will never be able to put together a team that runs with the titans, it’s just not in his DNA
Norvell and Frost were able to have the best athletes in the AAC and won their games that way. It is easier to stockpile athletes in the G5 than it is in P4. Deion is figuring that out now at sCUm. I do not see a favorable future for any of these guys.

Same here, complete ********. I don’t care if Disney raised their prices, not my problem. I agreed to a contract with DirecTV that said I will get these (ABCD…) channels. I didn’t make a deal with Disney, I agree to a contract with DircTV that said they would provide this(these) channels. Disney changing their prices shouldn’t be my problem, but guess DirecTV is gonna pass their cheap *** problems down to the consumer. If this isn’t fixed soon I’m cancelling these bums. 😡
So you want Direct TV to absorb all price increases? How do you expect them to stay in business if they do? Disney is a **** show right now, and this is why I watch all their programming for free on YouTube during the season. I refuse to give Disney a penny of my money. They offered me Hulu for a year for $1 a month and I took it knowing it takes more than that to provide that service. In Nov. I will cancel. Hulu really isn't worth it anymore since I get the something from TubiTV for free.
