The Falcons will definitely suck a TINY bit less. Good thing they play in the worst division in football, Captain Kirk gives them a shot. There is just a ridiculous amount of money for teams to spend this year. They don't even know what to do with it.
He’ll be playing in the same offensive system. But wow, they sure paid a lot for an old vet coming off an Achilles.

Of course it is, but who are they making room for? They need to clear the roster of good players for Jefferson?
They signed the pass rusher when they thought they still had a shot at signing Cousins. Now they’re scrambling. Their GM is a buffoon.

But it's OK because they're the most valuable pro team ever and fans can totally deposit that in their bank!!
Damn son, take that Jerry Jones autographed Cowboys G string off for a minute. There are other teams that deserve your incredibly valuable message board time.

Dak' brother seems pretty happy with the situation, and he's totally helping by whining about it on Twitter..... BAHAHAHA.
Dak is part of the problem. He makes way too much money for an average QB who hasn't won ****. Ceedee and Micah will break the bank as well. Too many overpaid prima donnas at Jerry World.

He might be a buffoon. He made some unforced errors in last year’s draft. if they get the quarterback they want and sign Jefferson that’s gonna take some heat off. right now the jury is out on him.

You’ve been saying this for more than a year now

Looking more right with each passing moment
It’s tricky. As good as JJ is, he needs to know his place. I want a top five quarterback, and very good receivers, not one of the best receivers and so so QB. I’m not saying trade him because players of his caliber are hard to find, but it’s definitely on the table. need the signal caller for the next 8 to 10 years above all else. JJ now thinks he’s a shot caller and wants to be the highest paid receiver ever. That’s gonna be tough.

DEI hire. He has no business being an NFL GM. As a Vikings fan I was hoping they had enough support staff retained who could guide him. :(

Some teams go “all-in” every year.

My Raiders continually act like they can’t make anything work with the salary cap.
My Packers usually don't make splash moves in free agency. But we got a stud RB and S this year. Now we have 11 picks in the draft. 5 in the top 100 to play with.

They should trade JJ for draft picks. With Cousins' departure they're going to need to rebuild. Try to get a first rounder and a 2nd for him and kiss his diva *** goodbye.

Seriously though…

Mediocre teams with the cap are like dogs with an electric fence…just scared to death to get to the line and make things work and sometimes kick the can down the road.

Championship level teams always make it work, no matter how many contracts they have to rework, bonuses they have to redistribute, dudes they have to “cut + resign”, etc.

Those 5 picks are huge for a very young team without any glaring weaknesses. So many options with the McKinney signing. Don't have to take a safety in the first now.
