We had 4 turnovers before he even entered the game. We would have been winning not relying on Purdy coming off the sidelines for the first time all year asking him to lead a 90+ yard drive.

Clueless fanbase sometimes it's funny.
He had been running scout team offense or the two weeks leading up to that game. Yet he led a drive after not even getting reps in practice on most of the plays called.

I was wrong about Purdy, he appears to be a legit QB. Maybe he really has been hurt for 3 years?

I'm not even claiming he is a great QB, but people on this board who think that Haarberg and Sims are better are literally more clueless than Satt thinking Sims was a homerun portal pick up.
Purdy looked like qb. Which is the first time we've seen that all year.

Some here just can't except that.

He’s shown flashes of being able to play. We’ve had a new OC every year and our O line was a mess. The O line has improved but We need to get better talent at a couple of spots. I like Purdy’s talent level but we’ve got to get better at WR and TE. Our guys couldn’t get open last night from what I could tell.

We are down to 4th string at most positions outside of TE. That doesn't explain the coaching, but there is a massive talent problem due to injuries and some bad classes.

we had guys wide open

chubba can't stick in the pocket

after the nice long pass to Lloyd he looked scared to death the second he got the snap

but I don't blame him for that

our offensive line is awful and has been all season. I suspect this will be widely acknowledged this week for no particular reason.

You’re not getting two good portal QBs to come here with Purdy, HH and Haarberg returning (and Kaelin). Will be lucky to get one who is better than any of those guys.

First, HH is Haarberg and I also don’t think any of those guys are scaring off any potential QB’s.

And getting multiple portal QB’s isn’t unheard of, especially if one is young. We got two when we got Thompson and Purdy

the team we just lost to brought in 3 portal QBs in the offseason with a brand new coach & system.

One thing I don’t get is all the talk about next year’s schedule being some kind of murderer’s row. Is it just because this year’s schedule is/was a joke?

I think just about anyone would trade their first 7 games next year with us. 5 out of the first 7 are at home vs mediocre at best competition, and the two road games are Indiana + Purdue. The 5 after that are tougher than Nebraska is used to, but there’s still a couple home games that aren’t against OSU or Michigan.

I agree

we play in a very mediocre football conference

our schedule will never be a gauntlet

Show me the guys wide open

He stayed in the pocket plenty

It's one full game, need to see more. His footwork and vision is way ahead of HH. I'll be glad to be wrong about Purdy. Would've been nice if the coaches gave him a chance to win at the end instead of playing it safe.

He's not dealing well with the fact that HH is going to be a TE next year.

here's the final play of regulation.

footwork looks great. definitely not two wide open guys with room to run right in front of him (Johnson especially):

very well could be that he was told to do what he did. Satt is not beyond question in any of it.

and last night's game and last week's game were not purdy's fault. he's not going to go out and win games on his own. unfair of the staff to put him in those positions.

kid played the best game he's played as a college QB, we scored 17 points. have to win those games with that kind of offensive explosion.

Sounds like our receivers took a huge leap because with HH, against WAYYYY worse defenses there were no receivers running open according to wrong Kong. Also Purdy completed at least 2 passes with 30+ air yards. You are absolutely addicted to being wrong. Dont forget your predictably hypocritical “We would be 3-0 if HH started” 😂 “Only losers say if and maybe and would be”

With the season almost in the books you look not only like the stupidest football mind in the world, but unable to open your mouth without even contradicting yourself. I’d laugh some more but it appears plenty of others are doing it for me. What an all-time pathetic loser!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

and you won't find a single post from me stating we'd be 3-0 with HH because it doesn't exist.

I have no idea what your lost *** is talking about now but you literally have people ignoring you because you’re just THAT stupid and insufferable. Sorry Purdy is so much better than HH. Smarter minds saw it very early on.

Kong loves having a native Nebraskan as the starting QB for the Huskers. Anyone in the way of that must be insulted.

Best QB play we’ve had all season and again, everyone knows it because it’s so easy to see. Both RBs only averaged 3.8 per carry, Purdy didn’t get much help. He still completely destroyed you last night. “Noodle arm” “won’t get 24 air yards” “lollipop“ “not tough”. All that complete horse **** you’ve spewed about him all year. Wrong. You are a disaster.
