I think Wisky already played iowaLol, they’ll be so intimidated and not sure what to do. I couldn’t resist. Preparing for a 2* or 3*. Sweating bullets
Not really. Teddy would have probably been starting if he wasn't coming back from an injury. That doesn't speak will for our coaches now does it? Guys with less ability and experience doing better than the guys who've been starting. I mean, there is something amiss with that.
It’s mid 3 star guy again! Shock of all shocks!Lol, they’ll be so intimidated and not sure what to do. I couldn’t resist. Preparing for a 2* or 3*. Sweating bullets
our previous coach said the same **** every weekThis is the type of man that is going to get this ship righted eventually. When was the last time we had a coach who took personal responsibility like this?
Players have to execute what they are coached, but coaches have to realize when how/what they are coaching isn't working. Rhule has said as much when it comes to the turnover issues and he has been trying different things to get it fixed. I'm confident he will. I haven't had that confidence in a Nebraska staff in a LONG TIME.
How does it feel to live in a state of constant pessimism and negativity. Except when it comes to HH that is.our previous coach said the same **** every week
"it's on me"
D has been solid all season. O line has been held together with spit and glue and has improved. RB's have improved. EJ has at least. Young WR's have played well. Been blocking great and running wide open. All our QB's have regressed. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see why we are losing these close games. QB's. Period.
Ha...no kidding.our previous coach said the same **** every week
"it's on me"
If I were coach for one day, that's exactly what I'd do. Wildcat every play. We don't have a QB that we can trust to take care of the ball. Just run it. The Wisc D would eventually have to "load the box" and then we could try to slip a TE out for a long pass 2 or 3 times. The end result couldn't be any worse than what we've seen the past 2 weeks. We'd be better off putting a RB or WR out there instead, and just run wildcat every play.
If Sims plays, we are guaranteed 3-5 turnovers.
Just punt, play field position, and let the defense try to win it.
Find out Saturday. Does it matter?
Yep. Either you've got what it takes, or you don't. I think Satt's history of producing less than mediocre offenses speaks for itself. Seriously, when one takes a look at the offenses Satt's produced at his previous 2 OC gigs, one has to wonder WTF Rhule sees in him? It tells me that Rhule isn't the guy.5 of the top 8 offenses in the country are being led by 1st year OCs
to answer Coach Rhule's question of "when has that worked?" re: firing & "starting over"
So, he's got that going for him...Well, the best you can say about Sims is that he's healthy.
Honest question… who on the defensive side of the ball were Rhule’s friends? In general, which hires were friend hires? Satterfield, obviously, but who else? I honestly don’t know, and maybe the answer is 6 coaches… but just curious here.Yep. Either you've got what it takes, or you don't. Great HC hire the best assistants they can find. The others hire their friends. We got the latter.
Yep.. it’s a formula that can win the big west … thank God this terrible division will be dead soonwhat's sickening is that if we half as many TO's, which would still be bad our record would be 8-2. That's why Iowa is winning games, limit TO's and play defense until the other team makes the mistake.
By everything you mean fumbles or interceptions? Sick![]()
Which begs the question why is Satterfield here?I do think Rhule actually calls some of the key plays in certain situations after consulting with Satt.
I'm not sure what question lead to Rhule’s comment, but no way he's going to say that he'll fire Satt at the end of the year.5 of the top 8 offenses in the country are being led by 1st year OCs
to answer Coach Rhule's question of "when has that worked?" re: firing & "starting over"
What's funny is that IF Rhule does fire Satt at the end of year, does Rhule get blasted for "preaching" / "lying to the fans"?I'm not sure what question lead to Rhule’s comment, but no way he's going to say that he'll fire Satt at the end of the year.
His answer is exactly what everyone should expect, right?
I wouldn't announce either. Make Wisconsin prepare for everything
nobody expects Satt to be firedI'm not sure what question lead to Rhule’s comment, but no way he's going to say that he'll fire Satt at the end of the year.

This is interesting (I mean it, I’m not being a smart ***). What are the 5 schools and what are the circumstances behind having a new OC? Did the last guy get fired for incompetence? Or did he get a better job, leaving a good situation behind?5 of the top 8 offenses in the country are being led by 1st year OCs

Friend = any sort of prior personal relationship.Honest question… who on the defensive side of the ball were Rhule’s friends? In general, which hires were friend hires? Satterfield, obviously, but who else? I honestly don’t know, and maybe the answer is 6 coaches… but just curious here.

Totally and I'm not in disagreement there. Just even if Rhule was going to fire Satt, he's not going to announce it now so what are we expecting him to say?nobody expects Satt to be fired
I am simply answering Rhule's pompous question of "where has that worked?" with a fact-based "lots and lots of places"
I also didn't see what predicated the response, but I doubt the lapdog media asked him a direct question about itTotally and I'm not in disagreement there. Just even if Rhule was going to fire Satt, he's not going to announce it now so what are we expecting him to say?
Tell me or show me I’m wrong? I’ll wait. It’s mid 3 star guy again! Shock of all shocks!
Just change your screen name already and make it easy on yourself.

5 of those teams have heisman level QBs and were likely top 20 last year.5 of the top 8 offenses in the country are being led by 1st year OCs

Mickey and his wife put him in that position.5 of those teams have heisman level QBs and were likely top 20 last year.
firing Mickey was a massive mistake. Trey Palmer was the most dynamic player since Ameer.
