Does MJ keep Whip if hired?

I disagree. He should definitely keep Bill Busch. In fact, without Bill Busch, likely we don't beat Indiana or Rutgers and MJ doesn't get the job.
He didn't do a very good job adjusting to the Purdue running game. They kept running the same toss play over and over and it was successful almost every time.

Hope not. I’d like to see Mickey pick and choose his own staff. I don’t see it including Whip. Could very easily be wrong.
What if hypothetically Mickey does pick and choose his own staff and that person happens to be Whipple? Its certainly a possibility.

I think they work well together. The biggest problem for this offense continues to be horrendous offensive line play. I don't care if you've got the best WR's and QB's and RB's and TE's and even play calling in the country, it can only take you so far with crappy Oline coaching

The S&C are fine as these dudes are conditioned and strong as fk and there isn't one team that has out muscled them or taken them off of their feet as it's been just all mistakes due to learning a brand new system. The problem with the OL is 2 things, 1 we lost a surefire Outland Trophy and Rimmington award candidate in Jurgens as he left and could've played another year and the other was Autin's OL playbook had been completely scrapped when Riola came on board and now the OL is learning a whole brand new OL playbook that is on the opposite side of the spectrum than Austin's and not only that, has anyone looked at the OL room as Hixson is the only true blue Senior in that room as this is his 6th year and I don't count Williams as was only a transfer from the portal. If people are thinking that they should be barnstormers right now are absolutely dilusional and should have their heads examined as this new system will take time as the OL room has to unlearn the former system and just like after Frost got here Chin's D got better every year including the DL up to last year but look at we lost as that was a huge difference maker as those were old dudes in the system. Chin should be faulted for not coaching up and developing those behind the rotoation during those years.

I disagree completely on our Strength and Conditioning. Our S&C is a disaster. We are using an outdated approach, focusing on sheer power and utilizing old-school Olympic lifts. The best S&C programs today are focusing on functional strength and flexibility, which our lines are missing big-time. Duvall has not adapted with the times and we have got left behind.

The S&C program is terrible, and Duval is about as far behind the curve as humanly possible on this. They may be strong as ****, but these dudes on the line are slow, lack flexibility and explosiveness. Indiana's, now Alabama's, S&C guy and some others are legit. Indiana was producing some dudes when they had their little run and it was because their S&C guy was legit as hell. Duval is stuck in 1992 when the steroids did the work.

All excuses. This is the same mindset that kept Frost as Huskers HC for 5 yrs. vs. 3 yrs. (when anyone with a brain at all knew he shoulda been canned)

So are we buddy, I defer to the experts who actually know what they're talking about instead of listening to the diatribe of wannabe's on message boards that have absolutely no clue of what the hell they're talking about. Message boards equal Never Experts. But hey guys, you be you!

Aren’t you the one who predicted that Smothers would be the next great quarterback at Nebraska? Lol.

Who are the experts saying Duvall is doing a good job? I see plenty stating his methods are outdated, not seeing the support you claim anywhere.

Honestly, all this gushing over Mickey is giving me PTSD from the frosturbator fiasco. If there’s one thing Trev needs to have learned by now, it’s to not listen to the clueless masses in the fan base.

I don’t like Whips offense. It’s ok, better than Frosts but we need the next guy in ASAP. If Mickey stays he needs to let go everyone except Beckton and that’s why I worry he might be hired… he could keep a few guys that don’t deserve it
Seriously Beckton is your keeper? Vokolek is ok but who has he recruited and gotten ready behind him that is worth a damn? Brewington doesn’t count, he came here as a wideout walkon. Apple white brought 2 game changers to the program and has improved the rift raft rb room in less than a year here.

Our guys don’t even look like the same species as the opponents. It’s shocking how flabby and out of shape our guys look.

I want him to stay on, that's a definite. Been very pleased with his offense sans a terrible line.
I disagree…. He’s done nothing to HELP the OL or Defense- constantly playing hurry up, constantly sending 5-6 players when rb’s and te should help block. The quick 3 and outs Kill a D too

Still and Allen produced for us. The TE play was pretty good and Fidone has been hurt. Applewhite isn’t coaching these RBs to make their amazing cutbacks, but he has a case to be kept too. But if Beckton and all of the coaches are let go by Mickey I’d be ok with that too… we need a new start. What we have been doing does not work…
