I give Minnesota credit for scheduling this. Probably not going to end well for them, but with zero expectations going in, the potential reward far outweighs the risk.

Looks like Ohio St, Nebraska, Illinois, Minnesota and Purdue are all willing to tussle. Iowa is once again absent.

Ioway is stuck with Io.State whether they like it or not…

Chances are they won’t want to play another Power5 school and the Cyclones too.

They’re allowed to schedule whoever they want

There is nothing in the college football bylaws that requires those two lame schools to bump uglies every season, just like there is nothing (except cowardice) prohibiting iowa from scheduling two P5 games

Prior to Saban, Bama sucked, so this is a crap shoot on the decency of either team.
Not minn

everyone on the planet knows what they’ll be - an avg at best inconsequential afterthought, just like every other year in their history

Wasn't Minnesota a powerhouse back in the 60s or something? Or before that?

The Iowa legislature probably requires Iowa to play Iowa State every year since the legislature controls the funding for both universities. That might be why they have to "bump uglies" so to speak.
