My son has known him for over 20 years. Says he's one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Just out of his element at the P5 and even G5 level.

Next up should be Duvall.
No. Understand this. The strength coach trains athletes to the exact specifications of the head coach. Now if players lack drive and fire on the playing field, that is on them, their position coach and the headcoach.

A week too late. His game plan Saturday was ludicrous

True. But this timing made the most sense, having Busch try to do that on a short week after Frost was fired would have put him in an impossible position. Now we have the bye week to figure it all out.

Duvall sucks. So Frosts' specs were: making them bigger, stronger, slower, out of condition and mentally weak.

Ozigbo, CTB and who else out of 150 kids showed noticeable improvement with the finest weight lifting, conditioning and nutrition available?.

Without Chinander’s defenses keeping things close last year, Frost would have been fired last year. The whole argument for Frost 2022 was that we were SO close.
And the reason they were close and not wins is because of Chinander's defense.

Not sure if we had a better option. What do we have for defensive grad assistants or analysts we can promote to help?
You get someone from outside if you make a move. Doesn't make much sense to get rid of the guy who has experience coordinating against Big 10 offenses if they're just going to be incestuous and hire from within anyway.

Dawson coached twice in the NFL and has actually called defenses before at least. There’s no way he could have brought in anybody from outside. IMO we would have been better off having a backup walk on linebacker or even you calling the D than Chinander. The way Chinander was calling the D was INSANE!

How's Dawson's unit performing? Complete trash.

At this point Chins could careless of the what the outcome is going to be, he’s another dead man walking after SF was fired anyway

Who lines up your 3 biggest D linemen on one side and leaves 2 undersized guys to try to cover the other side in a short yardage situation? Answer: only Chin. Repeatedly

Unless they felt that they couldn’t trust him anymore because he’s upset about Frost getting canned.

Then you have to make the move no matter what.

Following the Cornhuskers' blowout loss, Fox Sports radio host Colin Cowherd posted a message on Twitter specifically for Nebraska fans.

Cowherd tweeted, "Nebraska fans — just keep blaming the coaches."

Obviously, this was Cowherd's way of taking a jab at the fans who thought all of Nebraska's problems would be solved once Frost got fired.

I like Cowherd but that don't mean I always agree with him. So my question to him would be this....after all these years of consecutive failure, who do you blame if not the coaches? That was a dumb tweet by him.

Just like you would key on a dominant Suh, you would target the weakest points and exploit or overpower them. Not rocket science, is it dingle?

I don't think that was it, he had a defensive scheme that cannot work at the P5 level.

Busch makes the most sense to be DC. Mickey likes his DC to coach safeties. Bill was a safety coach @ LSU with MJ. Plus you can bring in a special teams guy. Don’t have to worry about chemistry with a new coach as much

Cowherd is blaming the players. Solid take.

We have to have a grad assistant who can help. Promote somebody and hire another analyst.

Stupid Tweet! It was Frost’s fault for poor recruiting and development of players. Can’t fix 5 years of this in 5 days!
