saying Frost needs 8 wins to keep his job. Was very confident in that number. Also said a struggle vs GA Southern and a big loss to Oklahoma could end this all on 10/1.
Sipple is a blowhard
imagine forgoing your column to blog for a fat slob on a site nobody goes to
Expect lots of clickbait driven by lots of late night regret
Yes, this would be consistent with what others have reported as well (regarding the 2nd sentence)saying Frost needs 8 wins to keep his job. Was very confident in that number. Also said a struggle vs GA Southern and a big loss to Oklahoma could end this all on 10/1.
So how can you say Trev is a failure? Lol. Little early don't you think?Yes, this would be consistent with what others have reported as well (regarding the 2nd sentence)
The part about 8 wins, I highly doubt that. We'd take a measly 6 at this pt. Trev should know that as well.
I have zero confidence in trev Alberts doing the right thing in either getting rid of Frost or bringing in a highly successful coach with track record of success. Trev is a failure and so is president Ted Carter, who is completely incompetent
Yeah...I agree. So how can you say Trev is a failure? Lol. Little early don't you think?
Some people you just can't reach. So how can you say Trev is a failure? Lol. Little early don't you think?
Trev did exactly what he needed to do. We can better judge him 1 year from nowSome people you just can't reach.
If he gets to 6 wins - certainly 7 - and is fired there is a going to be a very vocal subset grousing about the improvement from the 3 wins the prior year, a bowl birth and the fact that the offensive staff was just in year 1
were going to have the whole Solich situation over again if that is the case
the Frosties will squawk until the end of time about how he was on the verge of something big before his untimely firing
He is nearly as knowledgeable as everyone on this forum. On top of that he has zero access/contact with anyone outside of his office.he has little football knowledge
This. Sipple might be a gasbag, but he does have access to the AD and always has. That is exactly why he has always been such a suck-up, sycophant and a program sunshine pumper. It all had one goal: Access. I think he is most likely repeating something he has been told. I highly doubt Sipple would get that specific unless he had something he was basing it on. Otherwise, he would have just said that in his view Frost needs 8 wins and just left it at that. And I am not buying the clickbait argument. There are ways he could have generated a click bait article without going out on a limb like this saying Frost will be fired by 10/1 if things do not go well in the next two games. He may be, but he is definitely in the know. He has basically been a mouthpiece for the AD in the past and has been a huge Frost apologist. Him stating this is pretty significant, IMO. It also makes me think Trev has a pretty good idea who he wants and feels good about getting him.
you really think he retained his access after leaving the rag of record to wallow in the dark corners of the college football recruiting web? This. Funny isn't it that a game against Georgia Southern could make or break the career of a Husker coach. It is a sad and pitiful reminder that we have sunk to depths none of us could have imagined even 15 years ago.
The fact he didn't even mention Ronnie Green tells me he has no clue what he's talking about. I'm looking forward to seeing what Trev can accomplish with the opportunity to make a hire.So how can you say Trev is a failure? Lol. Little early don't you think?
Everything he's done so far.So how can you say Trev is a failure? Lol. Little early don't you think?
I suppose I would look at it more as connections.you really think he retained his access after leaving the rag of record to wallow in the dark corners of the college football recruiting web?
I don't

Trev is a failure? Please tell me what "You" would have done so much better in 1 year you've been on the job? Please be realistic in your answer.Yes, this would be consistent with what others have reported as well (regarding the 2nd sentence)

I wouldn't have ended the releasing of the balloons!Trev is a failure? Please tell me what "You" would have done so much better in 1 year you've been on the job? Please be realistic in your answer.
I wouldn't have ended the releasing of the balloons!
I wouldn't like it, but agree with this. Would represent a winning record against Div 1 competition. But, we are so physically soft I don't see us better than 5-7 tops.If Frost gets 7 wins he is 100% back imo. Trev will say this is an improvement and we also bring back a lot of players next year -- this is also year 1 with new staff that he likes.
********. He did it for the environmentalistsThat's just stupid! He had to end it due to a helium shortage in the country! All our helium we have is to be used for research and lab purposes. Makes more sense than for balloons! SMH
You do know, decisions aren't "made in a vacuum". Trev may want to do something, but he has to have Ronnie Green, Ted Carter, Nebraska Board of Regents, Athletic Department, major financial supporters/boosters in alignment. Especially with the $7 million we would owe Frost before 1 Oct.I have zero confidence in trev Alberts doing the right thing in either getting rid of Frost or bringing in a highly successful coach with track record of success. Trev is a failure and so is president Ted Carter, who is completely incompetent
Someone didn’t get their beauty rest last night and is a little cranky this morning!Yes, this would be consistent with what others have reported as well (regarding the 2nd sentence)

I believe that was decided on by the board of regents anyway. The Alberts bashers never mention the FREAKING EMBEZZLEMENT AND FRAUD that had the athletic department on the verge of collapse. It was either kill everything, or kill two sports. Trev had to be the hatchet man.Yeah...I agree.
First off, Trev did the right thing in cutting Mav football (no one went or cared) and wrestling (no one went or cared) because one March Madness bid is a bigger deal than 10 titles in a row for Mav wrestling. It is just is.
go on.....The Alberts bashers never mention the FREAKING EMBEZZLEMENT AND FRAUD that had the athletic department on the verge of collapse.
He’s changed jobs so I don’t believe his past M O is necessarily as relevant as some thinkHe may be, but he is definitely in the know. I’m not so sure it’s a cranky type situation. He’s either a troll or a moron. He absolutely has no clue what he is talking about.Someone didn’t get their beauty rest last night and is a little cranky this morning!![]()
I wondered the same thing. As a person who watches closely to how & when people say things I can't help but wonder if this is purposely being leaked to start easing the public into the notion that this is real and also to apply additional pressure on Scott for the same reasons... had last week gone as we all wanted it too I don't believe this would be out... now however the stakes just got Hotter and the time could be drawing near so time to let the masses get used to the idea...
