So I'm not allowed to discuss big ten teams in threads about the big ten teams? Just to confirm? And if not, why are others allowed to discuss big ten teams in big ten threads?
Because they are Husker fans dumbshit. Gtf outta here.

Lol I'd bet Purdue over Nebraska. I wouldn't bet either to win the big ten though. Stupid bet. Though, Purdue does have a fun recent history with OSU, so if they get to the game... haha jk. Big ten is a one horse conference. Has been for years.
Purdue ran 28 more plays, had the ball for nearly 40 minutes, and got 4 picks, 2 in the 4th quarter thanks to our former QB. One of which went for a touchdown. Yet you were out yarded. Both on the ground and through the air and won by 5. Needing a nearly converted onside kick to preserve a win.

Nebraska has a better Defense than the one that ate your team alive last year and have upgraded a significant part of the offense and special teams. There's two positions that have been downgraded, center and TE1 but not enough to be a hindrance. The return game is enough of an upgrade to win this game. But I have seen the returning roster and your additions, Minnesota won't keep the final score within 21.

How about now?

Sorry, deserved a bump. LOL
I think we could still have a good year, but you have to get Scott away from the program. I think we would have won the game if Frost wasn't trying to put his stamp on everything. He's a pariah now, and everything he touches he screws up.

Yeah, this is finally it for sure. I am not sure we even win 5 games but, he may actually be canned by game 7. Trev better not mess this up.

You can’t have a good year after losing to a high school team in front of the entire college football world

we could win 11 in a row and it would still not matter. We have been disqualified.

the sooner every person involved in this program (literally everyone) is **** canned the better

Maybe you're right.

I was thinking it's really just getting Scott out of the program and letting all the other sane people try to work together to see how things can go.

If things are already toxic at every coaching level, then you are right, you do have to clean house.

This is why it is so important to get Frost out of there. Because if it hasn't spread, you have a chance to come out of the funk with most of your people still intact.

You let it play out, and the whole thing is going to be rotten, because you will have spoiled all the other apples in the bin.

Ok, so I went to another board, and it might actually be that bad.

The inference is Scott has been partying with certain boosters and BOR and also that the advice he has been getting (not sure from who) has not been good advice.

Something about politics being more important than winning football games. The state AG helping Scott negotiate his contract and what they are calling B1G FU money and big NIL money as well. Names being thrown around are "Hausmann, Pillen, Claire, Bruning (ABM Partner), the Peeds"

This is all Rumor, I can't verify any of this, but on it's surface it looks like between the B1G money and the Nil money, there is a massive amount of corruption happening.

It's not at all about the product on the field, although they say Frost is as good as gone. They will find someone else to put in that spot and then it's back to the big money corruption game.

So, It really does sound bad.

like everything, who knows what to believe, just passing on what looks interesting.. This particular board is deep into the coaching search, and big names are involved. It could have wings because we just had an eye popping tv rights deal, and it seems there is a lot of money slushing around, so that part adds up as plausible to me.

I have zero doubt that kickbacks & corruption happen at all levels of government. It's human nature. People will be true to their values...as long as it's convenient. But they won't rock the boat if it means risking their money & power cocktail parties.

I am telling you, if the university social media started posting vids of all the higher ups just bathing in cash after every loss they would have millions of followers

we'd be the most popular B1G team by far, and it would be absolutely hilarious

A few years back, Minnesota gave total failure former AD Joel Maturi an extra $800K on his way out the door...for absolutely no reason. He already had a huge retirement pension. But they said "stick around part-time as a consultant for 6 months, and we'll give you this $800K."

And that's just 1 kickback that we happened to hear about.

If the admins and chancellor and higher ups are straight up pocketing the B1G cash and frost is skimming some while acting as the fall guy….

… I really don’t have a problem with it

in fact, I really hope there is legs to this rumor.

It trumps the alternative (we are actually trying to win & operate above board) one thousand fold.

exactly.. the cynical side of me is starting to think that the game, stadium, coaches, players are all this side show, while the main event is the money corruption going on.. It would seem we have joined the ranks of our B1G brothers and it will be only a matter of time before the money drugs and sex scandals grace the national airwaves.

I can confirm that Carson Holdings LLC (Ron Carson) threw him a party at their headquarters in Omaha on Friday, August 19th. He was there. They are probably boosters. They are effing loaded and throwing him parties. That’s not the only time at Carson either. They throw him parties periodically. I can tell you he didn’t look or act like he does on the sidelines on gameday. Very upbeat.

I can't mention that guy's name around my Dad.. he's still pissed about how they mismanaged some of his retirement money

I won’t go into too much detail but there is a bit of a history of sleezebag culture there, directly with Ron.

I forgot to mention, Mike Dawson was partying with Frost at Carson on the 19th also. I believe he was the only coach with him, fwiw.

I was told not to share this man’s name, but the person at Carson who Scott is closest with only handles their largest private clients. Warren Buffet is also in their circle. I am being updated on this as we speak.

And this conspiracy theory culminates in an onside kick in Ireland?
Well that is what happened. I suppose you think that Scott Frost- head coach at Nebraska, is just that much dumber than every single casual football fan who would not have done that?

I don’t know if there is corruption going on at these parties or what the extent of the corruption could even be. Anything is possible and I’m just reporting the facts that I know, combined with the severe oddities that we see on the field each week.

I do truly believe that no other program in the country with our level of recruiting experiences the coaching blunders that lose us games by less than one score week after week (historically factual). It’s not even close. The one score losses piling up like this have become a massive “coincidence” that’s getting harder and harder to look past. It is like our program, our fans are being f***ed with by something we can’t really see.

I don't know if those guys are trying their best to win games, or what's exactly going on with them. Other than they like money & power, of course...which everyone does.

But there's no doubt whatsoever that many people in positions of power at Universities despise football & men's basketball. It's a political/social issues thing. Indiana, for instance, shouldn't be mediocre in basketball...I'm sure there are forces working against basketball & football there.

And it's statistically impossible that Minnesota was trying their best but went 46 years without winning more than 5 conference games. And since 1997 we've had 3 potentially great basketball teams...and each and every one of them was self-sabotaged...self-suspensions of the key players. What are the odds of that?
