A double digit lead for the Skers in this game and it will be over, fast. NW will be lucky to have 150 yards passing.

Some of that will be because of the pass rush and because of the DB's but mostly it will be how lame NW will be at passing.

I also think here is a chance that Garrett Nelson makes a name for himself in this game. He could go up against the best LT in game...if he beats him a few times, watch out.

True. I'd take a nail biter W in well zero after these past several years...
God... I don't want a nail biter. I'd take it, but that still leaves way too much discussion. I hope for just a good solid win where we are control most of the game and ease into the OU game.

I agree. We really need to beat them and not ourselves. Lopsided score should reflect that if we truly do it.

I say Cornhuskers win 24 -12. Six touchdowns scored, all extra points are missed.

I am guessing before the end of the first quarter we'll have someone post a Vince McMahon gif saying "You're fired" after Nebraska makes a mistake.

27-14 Nebraska and the defense looks fully Husked.
I see you were delusional, SomedayHusker. Somehow I haven’t seen you over on the Northwestern Board since the game ended. LOL. Hope you enjoyed the Husker defense. It did look husked (or naked, which is about the same thing, I guess).

Northwestern wins 17-14. An overconfident Thompson forces two passes into too tight windows, one leading to a short field and one pick 6. NW manages a field goal also. NU has confusion on offense, run game never really takes off and manages to score in second and 4th quarters by Thompson running more than hoped. Time expires after NU misses a 56 yard game tying FG.
I was wrong about Casey running more than hoped.
