If Nebraska goes 9-3 or better this season, does Scott Frost retain his job? If not, then does Whipple or one of the other assistants get promoted to be the next head coach? Safe bet would be to retain Frost, but anything can happen.

I would guess it depends on how they handle press conferences and saying they had great practices. Thats important to you right?
I haven't seen any indication Alberts is willing to fire anybody, so I think Frost stays no matter what. I do think we go 9-3 or better this season.
I think it's bowl game or bust the Head Coach Scott Frost this year. Anything 6 wins or better and he keeps his job. Less than 6, might be a tossup.
If they go 9-3 or better, then obviously those great practices must have paid off finally.
6-6 should be the bare minimum for Frost to get a sixth year (and 6-6 in year 6 shouldn't be good enough to get a year 7).
I disagree. I figured going into this that it was going to be an 8 year rebuild. With Covid whatnot now I'm thinking more like 10. In my opinion I haven't seen half of what I need to see to make an informed opinion. This season doesn't mean much imo, neither does next season imo. Year 8 and especially years 9 and 10 will be the key.

See what the minimum Frost has to do to keep his job, or if Frost even gets credit if things do turn around or if all the credit will go to his assistants.
I think 7 is Frost's magic number. Just getting to .500 shouldn't get an extension.
Face it. Frost is most likely gone. And with him goes all those assistants. We'll see if Frost can scrape together enough wins. He's sucked so far.

This program doesn't need an Urban Meyer to be near the top in the Big Ten and a perennial Top 25 team.
Day, Harbaugh, Fleck, Ferentz, Franklin, Chryst are all coaches in the conference that could make the program good again, not great, but good.
SF has shown to be one of the bottom 3-4 coaches in the entire league. I'm a NU fan, I wouldn't miss Frost, and he would be even more insufferable if NU ever won anything with him as the head man.

Donāt you mean 9-3 or worse? Better would mean 10-2 or 11-1. Worse is 8-4, etc.
