It was nice to see this team play up to their potential today. Yeah, Wisconsin went cold from 3 or we lose that ref aided game. But, Verge's elevated play has been huge. IF he had played like that and limited his turnovers like that all year, we would have more Ws in the win column. It's too bad this didn't come together like this back in early January.

My worry is that this team will have to rebuild again next year and not find themselves until late again. They got better late last season also.

When you rebuild the roster every year it’s hard to build a team. That’s what has always aided teams such as Wisconsin & Iowa most years.

Well on the bright side we found we can play and win without the mcgowens

Wisconsin redshirted that kid from Yankton SD that all of the big boys were recruiting. They seem to keep their recruits around forever. Fred can get there. Fred has some nice pieces coming back and a couple of good recruits coming in. Walker could stay. I doubt Trey does but it would be huge if he does. We're going to miss Webster IMO. Verge I think technically could come back too due to that extra COVID year. It will be interesting to see who comes back and who leaves. HAVE to find a couple of 6-6 guys who can blister the nets from 3.

I'll throw in a couple thick 6 11 guys to the wish list too

Honestly, aside from the stretch of time that the refs took over the game, Nebraska controlled it the entire time.

It’s the best 4 game stretch we’ve played in BB in a long time. Our offense has improved. Overall effort has improved.

Our FG% for the last 4 games:

Iowa - 52%
PSU - 58%
OSU - 49%
Wisc - 54%

Just need 5 more this week to make the dance!
Despite our over all record if Nebraska gets to Saturday at this point I’ll consider it a great ending to the season… In fact playing on Friday would be quite remarkable..

How many ft's those
Not sure who that is but I’m glad to see you think I’m greater than (>) him
Don't get too excited. That's an incredibly low bar to get over.

It's like telling someone they are more athletic than a garden slug.

Hard to believe this is the same team that was 0-14 or whatever it was. They were a complete abomination.

I wish it happened earlier. I hope it’s something that carries over to next year.

I hope.

Didn't want to start a new thread and really don't want to hijack this thread but watching Illinois vs Iowa. Why is it OK for ill to have a 👌big head type poster but it's racist for herbie husker

Hard to imagine a more enjoyable day of Big Ten hoops. Illinois flushes the Badgers' dreams of an outright title straight down the toilet, holding Jordy Hairdo scoreless in the process.

Was able to watch the end of the game at a sports bar here on the strip in Vegas with my sister and mom. Thoroughly enjoyed watching Wisconsin lose to Nebraska. Didn't have the sound on so didn't even realize that they were down Bryce, Trey and Alonzo as only caught the last couple minutes. Very good win. So happy for the players and staff that they've been able to get on this little roll to end the season. Hopefully this will be a good confidence and momentum boost for 2022-2023. Let's ruin some more teams dreams and win the Big 10 tournament.

Lol. Gard is pissed he only got most of the calls. Apparently he thinks he should get all of them.

“The officials knew my thoughts, and knew them actually before it happened on some other things that I saw," Gard said. "I’ll leave it at that, and I’ll watch the replay and I’ll make the necessary phone calls."

Wisconsin whining to the Big Ten brass - what a shocker.

Why don't they just drop the pretense and make Alvarez the commissioner?
