But keep in mind the National Player of the year Candidate (Davis)was out most of the second half also.Well on the bright side we found we can play and win without the mcgowens

Davis being out is the reason the Badgers went scoreless for the nearly six minutes down the stretch? Those other guys missed him so much that they couldn't make a two-footer?funny how much of this thread is spent constructing a straw man about Davison being such a meany and the game is ultimately decided by a punk-*** move by a Neb player that takes out the potential big ten player of the year
hope the guy is healthy for the tourney
another example of how UofN is simply a liability to this conference

This is such a reasonable post that I don't know how a sane, objective Wisconsin fan could argue against it? Davison is LITERALLY one of the dirtiest MF'ers in basketball. I honestly didn't think it was a dirty play by Trey but I get how it could be seen otherwise and I have no issue with the call and the ejection. Saying that is why Wisconsin lost is just pathetic. Man up and move on already Wisconsin.Davis being out is the reason the Badgers went scoreless for the nearly six minutes down the stretch? Davison is being brought up because it's hilariously hypocritical for a program that harbors the dirtiest player in college basketball to all of a sudden clutch its pearls at the sight of a hard foul. The play was properly called a flagrant foul and McGowens was DQed because of it. But it's funny how he's a "punk-***" but your precious little all-American boy is just such a fierce competitor, and that's why he punches opponents in the nuts and undercuts them over and over and over again.
Even more hilarious is Greg Gard complaining about the officiating. Good Lord, is he such an entitled asshat that wants the refs to put points on the scoreboard for him? They did everything short of that yesterday.
I believe Jawan Howard was a big Nebraska fan yesterday.funny how much of this thread is spent constructing a straw man about Davison being such a meany and the game is ultimately decided by a punk-*** move by a Neb player that takes out the potential big ten player of the year

Not a fan of Michigan, but I’ve concluded just from this game and a few of the delusional wisky fans here that Howard was justified in punching the wisky dude. They make you want to smack them.I believe Jawan Howard was a big Nebraska fan yesterday.
You play on a dirty team you will eventually get a little action back. **** happensThis is such a reasonable post that I don't know how a sane, objective Wisconsin fan could argue against it? I actually think it was a dirty play, but it's not why Davis got injured. He injured himself tripping at the three point line and running awkwardly all the way to the hoop. I love Husker basketball, but a few of them will look to put a hit on a guy if they think they can get away with it and Trey is one of those guys. When he first got here Fred had him playing point and he was bringing the ball up the court he would purposefully get in front of a guy and just stop so the guy would run him over. The refs caught on about half way through the year and made him stop. Mayen is another guy who plays dirty. Now neither of these guys are Brad Davison or Grayson Allen, but they aren't exactly angels. This is such a reasonable post that I don't know how a sane, objective Wisconsin fan could argue against it? I’m guessing that Trey has earned himself a reputation with the refs which didn’t help him with this incident.I actually think it was a dirty play, but it's not why Davis got injured. I think McGowens went airborne thinking he would have a chance to block the shot. Then once he realized that he got headfaked and was going to get a foul, he put some extra oomph behind it. But he got caught and was given the maximum in-game penalty, so I still don't know why Gard is whining about the officiating. When Gard gets Commissioner Alvarez... er, I mean... Warren on the phone, maybe he'll also argue that Verge should be suspended for frowning at an official.I actually think it was a dirty play, but it's not why Davis got injured. Agree. Dirty or not, I don’t know anybody that has been ever hurt with the inside of an arm. There was no hand, fist, elbow or forearm. It was literally the inside of his arm. It’s so odd the outrage given that.I think McGowens went airborne thinking he would have a chance to block the shot. Maybe. But you would think this guy would be public enemy #1 if that was the case:
