Rate the West Division QBs

Read the entire thread… I was poking fun at another poster who firmly believes that those guys are better QBs because their teams win.
I mentioned that I should have been clearer in my sarcasm.
Just because Martinez regressed every year doesn't mean Morgan will. The top 4 most-running teams were Army, Air Force, Minnesota, & Navy. Now that our new receivers have a year under their belts, it should be different.
Thompson has never done anything close to what Morgan has done in terms of stats or winning. Yet you guys think he's so much better that it's not even worth any thought. Like it's so obvious.
Lololol! Just because Morgan has regressed every year doesn’t mean he won’t continue to regress! Why do you think Minnesota ran the ball as much as they did? Sure, maybe the receivers weren’t as good. Or maybe, just maybe, Morgan isn’t as good as you think.

We have a poster on this very board that says over and over that team wins (and interviews) is the only way to judge a QB. He probably doesn’t doesn’t actually know who Petra’s is, but he knows winners lead their team to victory, even if it is with ****** QB play.
Exactly, this is why kong is pissed all the time. This division is ripe for the taking and has been for the last 2 years or so, maybe longer. Nobody would want any of these QBs outside of this league. Baseball was the sameway as we wallowed around in mediocrity. Thank God Will Bolt came along and put an end to that crap. Let's hope Frost finally got his head outta his *** too.
Well Morgan has regressed every year so far, so he’s we’ll on his way.
And yes 24 TD to 9 INT is MUCH better than 10 TD to 9 INT. And a rating of 155 is MUCH better than a rating of 135. CT also had 157 yards rushing and 4 TD’s to Morgan’s -9 and 2 TD’s. So basically CT is better at throwing and running and Morgan is better at? Maybe handing off?
Give him credit for being honest I guess.

This is close. Put O'Connell in the number 1 spot and drop everyone down one spot. Hard to not have a top 5 returning QB in the #1 spot.
I don't count the Covid half-year too much. So Morgan regressed 1 year...when we decided to change our game-plan based on our personnel.
24 TD's / 9 INT's isn't nearly as good as Morgan's 30 TD's / 7 INT's. Plus Morgan has gone 11-2 (7-2) and 9-4 (6-3).
It's one thing to say you think Thompson will be better. But everyone on here simply assumes it's so obvious, and not even close, and not even worth considering.
You're also assuming Thompson stays at 100% health or can play at his best all year. Morgan has shown toughness.
Even injured for most of the year, CT was WAY better than Morgan. Morgan is a lot closer to Mertz and Petras than to Thompson.
'Is'....is your prediction, which is fine. All I'm saying is that it's not a fact for next year. Morgan put up far better stats in his 11-2 (7-2) season. Last year we were 9-4 (6-3) with a great running game...it's not easy to run in the Big Ten if the QB is no threat like you say.
It’s also a lot easier to run the. All in the B1G if your OLine is, on average, 30 lbs heavier than the Vikings OLine… we’ll see what minnesota looks like this coming year with a new OLine…
Let me tellulikeitis... Morgan was sooo good last year that MN #1 rb got hurt..#2 got hurt and they decided to lean on 2 underclassmen at rb vs letting your captain save a ho QB take over games... pahlease... he sux.. and only reason he had any success was because of bateman and autman bell during "covid" so stop defending him and we will watch his worse year yet behind your new oline - falllallalalla la la la la and the rest of the row the boat losers
Hilinski is NW's top returner at QB. Same for Wimsatt at Rutgers, Sitkowski at Illinois and Tuttle at Indiana. I would bet on Syracuse transfer Tommy DeVito taking over at Illinois. Oh, and Sitkowski beat our asses.
