It means we canDoes that mean we can’t do the horns down thing?

Just wait. Get that sock ready for the ****...I will gladly trade AM’s rushing for adequate or better passing
And I cannot wait to compare the most turnover prone (and therefore losingest) player in Husker history to literally anyone else
Hmmm, decent description of AM. Great athlete, not a consistently great QB, and a turnover waiting to happen. You should watch the kid and do some research before posting. They are nothing alike. Thompson is an accurate pass first QB, with a good TD/INT ratio. AM is an electric runner that is a turnover machine.
A lot of you guys are gonna be jizzing yourself about his stats next year...
And then you are going to realize those ****-worthy stats are going to look just like AM's.
It will be fun to watch.
This is not a knock on him...this is a knock on how dorky some Husker fans are.
I could be wrong but I assumed their post wasn't meant to be taken seriously. We'll now have some Gopher fan running around Rivals telling everyone how all the Nebraska fans are expecting to win the B1G because of one post on the Husker board.Yeah, um sure. You have to get by Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin first. Maybe consistently beat at least one of them before getting ahead of yourself? : - )
Not sure about Iowa and Wisconsin, but we should now start beating crap teams like Minnesota consistently.Yeah, um sure. You have to get by Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin first. Maybe consistently beat at least one of them before getting ahead of yourself? : - )

Too bad Bijan Robinson didn't follow..run the ball and chuck it deep!!!!
Too bad Bijan Robinson didn't follow..
We never had an issue with his stats. It’s just when the other team needed to make a play, AM obliged. Some are clutch…when the bad guys need it.stfu, dork.
Those are some cute cherry picked half stats.
Thompson 24 TD/9INT
Martinez 14TD/10 INT
Here is some more perspective.:
Yes, exactly my point! We never had an issue with his stats. It’s just when the other team needed to make a play, AM obliged. Some are clutch…when the bad guys need it.
Not cherry picked...literally last years stats.
Thanks!Half stats. You are welcome for providing the full context you intentionally left out.
Thanks!
The stats I posted were from last year.
Feel free to post career stats! It might be way in favor of CT!
And the % of completions and rushing yards? The stats I posted were from last year and were way in favor of CT:
2021: 24/9 TD/INT vs 14/10 not even close.
Career: 30/9 vs 45/30 also not close.
And the % of completions and rushing yards?
And, just my guess, who had better recruiting talent around them and who was tossing passes to ****ing Kade Warner
And you would admit that the 9 picks to 10 picks was "close" right?
moving the goalposts already? And the % of completions and rushing yards?
And, just my guess, who had better recruiting talent around them and who was tossing passes to ****ing Kade Warner
And you would admit that the 9 picks to 10 picks was "close" right?
How much more accurate?Feel free to veer off on whatever new tangent you choose. I’m not trying to bash AM, but the two are completely different players. AM was a great athlete, but CT is a more accurate passer. And I do hope we can put more talent around CT than AM had (especially in 19 and 20).
No...moving the goalposts already?
you get roasted and back on the defensive.
weak
then why did you omit the TDs portion of the stats?No...
Put both their stats head to head. Don't change anything at all. Just all their stats. And see what you like better or if it seems all that different.
I hope that CT comes here and goes 14-0 and tosses 50 TD's and 0 picks...I just don't why we all think this is going to happen.
Add them!then why did you omit the TDs portion of the stats?
You responded to king kong who was talking about preferring more accurate/better passing compared to a runner like AM.Add them!
I did not omit anything...I just compared the two stats the Husker dorks were drooling about.
Again...I hope CT wins every game ever in a Husker uniform
I suppose the only real stat is wins...right?
Yes...but unless I looked it up wrong, it is not a lot more accurate. Right? You responded to king kong who was talking about preferring more accurate/better passing compared to a runner like AM.
Better passing includes TDs.
You spun it the way you wanted for some weird reason.
24/9 (2.66TDs to every int) vs 14/10 (1.4TDs to every int)Yes...but unless I looked it up wrong, it is not a lot more accurate. Right?
Agreed!24/9 (2.66TDs to every int) vs 14/10 (1.4TDs to every int)
pretty decent difference.
63% to 61%Agreed!
Now, what was the completion %
What a douche. Go douche out somewhere else.A lot of you guys are gonna be jizzing yourself about his stats next year...

This is not a knock on him...this is a knock on how dorky some Husker fans are.
Amart has a lot of talent. I appreciate his service. However, as you said, the only stat that matters is winning. Amart led Nebraska didn't do much of that. Hopefully, Casey will win more games. This should be a day of happiness. We've been waiting to get our guy. Now, we have him. GBRFolks throwing around stats. The only stat that mattered was 3-9. Martinez was 0-forever in clutch plays when it mattered. This thread shouldn’t be about throwing him under the bus. It’s about Thompson…..and trolls. Definitely trolls.
Says the guy with 2000 posts in 6 months.A lot of you guys are gonna be jizzing yourself about his stats next year...
And then you are going to realize those ****-worthy stats are going to look just like AM's.
It will be fun to watch.
This is not a knock on him...this is a knock on how dorky some Husker fans are.
Could have watched this for the good guys.
This is the only analysis that matters. Anything else is window dressing. And not just the redzone, but anywhere on the field during any "crunch time" possessions. CT? The leader of the #5 redzone scoring % offense in 2021. There's really no comparison. We all know Adrian put up yards between the 20s but failed terribly in the redzone.
Um, he got ya. Hook, line, and sinkerYeah, um sure. You have to get by Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin first. Maybe consistently beat at least one of them before getting ahead of yourself? : - )
Finally a stat that we can look at that actually matters. This is the only analysis that matters. Anything else is window dressing. And not just the redzone, but anywhere on the field during any "crunch time" possessions. CT? The leader of the #5 redzone scoring % offense in 2021. There's really no comparison.
