On their way to 0-4. Tx Tech up 34-7 over Miss St.I feel terrible for the conference.
This is going to make me root for Iowa vs Kentucky for cripes sake.

Ya like your Herky’s could beat Georgia.. take a long hike in the wilderness..I highly doubt that the SEC would do nearly as well in an expanded Playoff. Look how WRONG the basketball predictions turn out to be. Duke and Kansas get beat a lot...and no conference dominates every year.

Sweet-16's, Final 8's, Final Four's, Championship Game appearances...beating higher-seeded teams...the Big Ten has done very well in everything except winning the last game. That's true.
Each decade, almost every major basketball conference wins a couple of titles.
I didn't say the Big Ten was the worst conference, only that it doesn't come anywhere close to living up to the hype that its blowharding fanboys insist on spewing year after year after year.Sweet-16's, Final 8's, Final Four's, Championship Game appearances...beating higher-seeded teams...the Big Ten has done very well in everything except winning the last game.
So by your logic, the Big Ten is the worst conference. Brilliant!
It's not as bad as the delusional SEC jock-sniffers.I didn't say the Big Ten was the worst conference, only that it doesn't come anywhere close to living up to the hype that its blowharding fanboys insist on spewing year after year after year.
What a disgrace. Who ever heard of a team opting out of playing in a bowl game because they would be missing some top players. Oh wait... never mind!National Championships say otherwise. A ***** conference is the Holiday Bowl UCLABruins Canceling a few hours before kickoff.
Yeah I would agree that it's pretty pathetic for fans of mediocre-to-bad SEC teams to puff out their chest when Alabama wins a championship. So why do you try so hard to be just like them? It's not as bad as the delusional SEC jock-sniffers.
Chip Kelly taught Frost well but not well enough. too bad Covid numbers weren’t high when we played OU. Scott could have had a “legit” reason to dodge a team we only ended up losing by 7 againstWhat a disgrace. You have a short memory, when the big 12 was formed OU ended the yearly rivalry didn’t want to play us every year. so yeah frost wanted out but stop the bashing OU was the firstChip Kelly taught Frost well but not well enough. too bad Covid numbers weren’t high when we played OU. mr amazing, we are talking about this year. stop living in the past. get with it a littleDo some googling captain.
See which conference has the best record in bowl games over the past 10, 20, 30, 40, even 50 years.
Come back with your results.
When is the SEC gonna go to 9 conference games like the rest of us?
Check out this stat for the ACC.
Wow, I am sure that Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State would not want to go to 8 gamrs and then play a top out of conference team each year. Why would they do that when they can play the punching bags which is the western division along with the bottom of the eastern division. The big boys of the Big 10 who makes the conference decision know what they are doing! Also they have the divisions set up so that the Eastern champs have a chump to play in the “championship “ game.Probably never. They want their teams to win more, be ranked higher, go to more bowls, etc. They aren’t going to give that up for a few bucks, like the B1G.

Is that the best response you can put together? What an idiotic post.
Is that the best response you can put together?
That could be puzzling to include Penn State but remember my response focuses on how the Big 10 is set up and their 9 game conference schedule. That is why Penn State is referenced. If I were referencing the top teams in the country Penn State would not be included.Penn State?
It does actually mean that. They play the games to settle these things.honestly if i was an sec team id have a hard time getting excited to play in some crap bowl game against some crap big twelve team. it doesnt mean texas tech is actually better than mississippi state....there not. texas tech just wanted to be there more. cant say i blame mississippi state, going from playing huge games in the swamp, death valley, against top 10 teams, etc to playing in middle of nowhere memphis in front of hardly any fans against barely bowl eligable texas tech
Yep. But on some planets, sometimes when you win, you really lose. And sometimes when you lose, you really win. And sometimes when you win or lose, you actually tie. And sometimes when you tie, you actually win or lose. Winning or losing is all one organic mechanism, from which one extracts what one needs. It does actually mean that. They play the games to settle these things.
Losing close games = winning. Actually winning games means nothing. Says rationalizing Nebraska fan.
Your premise may have merit from time to time, obviously teams don’t always show up for their bowl games.honestly if i was an sec team id have a hard time getting excited to play in some crap bowl game against some crap big twelve team. it doesnt mean texas tech is actually better than mississippi state....there not. texas tech just wanted to be there more. cant say i blame mississippi state, going from playing huge games in the swamp, death valley, against top 10 teams, etc to playing in middle of nowhere memphis in front of hardly any fans against barely bowl eligable texas tech
VOLS might cover but it won’t be as bad as your prediction..Tennessee by a thousand over pathetic purdue today
