No one is shooting well. Hard to watch this garbage. If you're shooting poorly, take it inside. Duh.

It’s just not getting any better, is it?

I think we get the next one, but that may be the last win of the year.

It’s hard to be disappointed by NU hoops, but this bunch has managed to do it.

Someone please tell the men athletes at Nebraska that smoking weed isn't a performance enhancing drug. Oh and you can't live vicariously through winning at video games forever.

For the sake of the Hoiberg/Williams comparisons. I haven't watched any women's games yet but just curious do they wear whatever they feel like for shoes too?? Just saying TEAMS act like a team. Ala vb

She do what she do. We'll see how we do when we get into the b1g. I'm a fan. We actually attempt to run an offense 😳
I’ll give her credit for that.. But you recruit to what you run and FH forgot about big men eating the paint in this conference..That is why he will fail… Or he has already failed because of it..

put a fork in him

yet another moos pants-down swindling at the hands of a fraudulent conman
Apparently you are smarter than every other basketball fan. Literally everybody thought Hoiberg was a great hire. It’s easy to ***** now but I bet you weren’t when they hired him. He was easily the best available coach at the time.

i temember wichitard st having the same futility from the late 80s thru most of the 90s. could not shoot for **** and long, long stretches of no scoring. but got off the mat with tugeon and on the map with marshall. i took my wife (then girlfriend) to a wsu game (in the flathouse) in ~95. maybe 1000 people tops in attendance. no ****. got to find the right fit, i guess. a 15 million $ buyout sounds a lot like to me like ‘thank you, sir. may i have another’ though.

It’s not working with Hoiberg or Frost. I’m not sure why but I’m hopeful they can both turn it around. They didn’t just turn stupid over night. They know how to coach. Hopefully a new QB will flip the switch along with these new coaches. Hoiberg seems to have given up already.

don’t mean to bag on the kid but if Bryce is a 5 star I’d sure hate to see a 3 star

Bryce is a lot like Adrian Martinez....there's talent and potential there, but no killer instinct. Banton was the same way last year.

This program needs someone on the roster to step up and be a vocal leader and demand more from everyone.

I got called old school, dinosaur and about every other name on here for saying we needed a "center/post player". Glad you agree and I approve this message.

Ps. Same a decade ago + when I said we needed to focus more on ol and dl in fb

Have you seen Hunter Sallis play at Gonzaga? He was a higher rated 5 star and is averaging 4 points a game. Bryce is a freshman and the only decent player on the roster. Give it time.

Agree along with a true point guard, it always seems like Nebraska basketball coaches are a decade behind seems like it back to the big man in the middle instead of a smaller lineup that chucks up 3 pointer

Gonzaga is a Top 5 team that is loaded with talent. Sallis would be the best player on many teams, including Nebraska.

I’m not going to bail on Fred Hoiberg. He was thought to be a home run hire, maybe a two run dinger. A great hire. Still could in this 13 scholarship sport. The best things about Nebraska basketball are the two facilities for basketball, the fans and the name of Fred Hoiberg.

Another great thing but also a big hill to climb is the Big Ten conference. We are doing fairly badly to the worst. But given our total ineptitude in the NCAA tournament post season, Nebraska fans shouldn’t be really surprised. We are what we are and many things have to happen to elevate the program to just semi-regular tournament appearances. It has been harder than I anticipated.

At 52 yo, fat, slow, and 5'7"... I could start for this **** team. I'll shoot from half court every time I touch the ball and not hit a damn thing just like the rest of 'em.

For those who want Amy Williams to coach the men's team....keep in mind that an AAU age-15 boys team would destroy any women's college team by at least 50 points. So why not look at winning coaches in the boys high school ranks first?

That is not true. In fact, I have watched some girls teams waiting fot my sons team to play the past few years and while the boys are morebathletic, the girls are so well schooled and understand the game way more. One team I thought holy cow they must be HS girls..found out the were 8th grade.
