I had the “ privilege” of watching WSU in person on Saturday and the Huskers on tv today… two different types of disaster… Shockers defend very well but have no offensive flow… Huskers LOOK to have good shots, just don’t go in…. And I don’t get it… KSU beats both on the road

That is not true. In fact, I have watched some girls teams waiting fot my sons team to play the past few years and while the boys are morebathletic, the girls are so well schooled and understand the game way more. One team I thought holy cow they must be HS girls..found out the were 8th grade.

Not entirely true. Girls teams are not more "well schooled" and "understand the game" more than men's team. The difference in athleticism between the 2 genders/sexes just makes it look that way. I watched the NU women's game yesterday (and watch other games when I can) and they had similar sorts of turnovers as the men. The women don't play as good of defense (or are as quick - re: athletic) and there are a lot more open shots from the perimeter. Because of that it appears they are more fundamental.

From my observation, the women's game in general seem to make more perimeter shots but are weak in taking it to the basket and scoring off of drives and inside post play.

Wait unti trans-women start playing college basketball. The sport will be dominated by players that were born male. You'll see just how "better coached" players born female are. Dont agree with it but that's where we are headed as a society.

Girls understand the game way more than boys?? Also keep in mind that women use a smaller ball.

And yes, it's been proven multiple times that age-15 boys can destroy any women in sports. A recent example was an age-15 boys team beating the Australian Women's Olympic soccer team 9-0.

I saw that Nebraska missed their last 18 3-point attempts.
Seems like it's almost statistically impossible for a Power 5 school to miss 18 threes in a row by accident. We're what, in the bottom 5 teams out of 344 in 3-point %? Starting to wonder if the fix is in. I'm not kidding.

I have always wondered where this idea that girls are more fundamentally sound has come from, like, who started it?

The only thing I can think is that for the most parts women's BB looks soooo mechanical and rigid that some people think that means "good fundamentals"

Honestly, if they wanted the girls game to grow at all, they should lower the ******* rim, we get it, you can't dunk. So just lower that stupid rim to 8.5 feet for then.

Already is... look up Lia Thomas at Penn State swimming. It's abhorrent the ncaa is allowing someone who was biologically a male for 21 years to compete against women.

I enjoy equally MBB and WBB when played at a high level. Political BS certainly is setting up the women's game for a real dilemma.
