They are very left leaning and seem to enjoy this image of "progressivism" they put off...
And they put this crap into children's movies. Sexual stuff too. A once great wholesome children's company has turned to garbage. Too much to list. Their business tactics are ruthless too.

So Disney, one of the biggest mega corporations in the world is “communist” because they are left-leaning? I guess anything really passes as communist these days.

You didn’t expect them to actually make sense, did you?

I didn’t say they were communist, I said they were a very left leaning corporation. One side calls everyone a communist, the other calls everyone a fascist or racist.

Extreme far-leftist politics is indeed communism, racism, and facism.

Refugees fleeing communist regimes, whom fled to the USA, have commented that they are scared that our system is lost. They see liar Obama and bufoon Biden as our Lenin and Stalin.

They have all the 98% of the media propaganda under their thumbs.

Good luck canceling you tube. We tried for months. Kept billing us. Bank said its very common. We finally had ti change savings account numbers to stop autopay.
I always only get youtube for football season then cancel the rest of the year. Not once have I been charged after canceling and its really easy as its managed by your google subscriptions.

They were also very involved with a person who didn’t kill himself

Communists love money just as much as the rest of us do. Don't let the book-definition fool you. They love the huge corporations that they control.

I’m not a philosopher, sociologist, or have a MBA but I’m pretty certain that Disney Corp is not communist.

Even us Capitalist elementary school teachers who can afford whatever we dream of are getting very upset with the cost of TV. Might switch back to reading books and listening to Lyle Bremser on KFAB.

Get a Roku and use Roku TV. Have hundreds of free television stations including some live sports. Otherwise purchase a streaming group with multiple stream options and share it with someone.

Disney does advocate for total government & corporate power & control over the people.
Well at least we are moving on from Disney is communist…. As for “control over the people” - it’s like ya’ll just took your first intro to social psychology and realized there are tricks that media and business use to influence people to consume their products. It’s going to really blow your mind when you realize that Disney, or whatever mainstream media you dislike, aren’t the only ones programming their consumers (you).

Disney is a mega corporation that panders to the masses. If you think Disney is too liberal it’s because you are too old and conservative to be their target audience. If you think Disney is communist then you should probably stop having opinions about things. If you think Disney is monopolistic and too big for their own good then you are probably on the right path.

Any station that has “News” in their name and claims to be news should not be able to use the ”no reasonable person“ defense

That defense, dubbed the 'No Reasonable Person' defense argues that no reasonable person would believe the statements they make, which ostensibly gives them the right to say whatever they want – no matter how reckless or untrue. If they use that they are admitting that they are not reliable sources of facts: They are opportunists and entertainers, first and foremost.

Sports leagues hate illegal streaming but, they fail to understand that the foolishness by media distributors screwing over the customer is why illegal streaming is alive, well and, on the rise.

YouTubeTV is a joke. Disney has zero fault as YT should pay whatever they need to keep it. These carriage disputes usually get resolved within a few days
Disney most likely wants to at least double the cost for YT to carry their channels. If distributors like YT or Hulu just 'pay whatever they need to' then the cost to a customer would rise by 80% or more and you would cancel anyway. I got a job working with a local small cable company and was really an eye opener when I became involved in the negotiation numbers the broadcasters bring to the table. There used to be nearly 20 content producers(outside the newer streaming content which is better now anyway). Now there are 6 and they often negotiate starting at 125% price increase for a 5 year contract. Broadcaster/distributors are lucky to get it down to a 50% price increase without the blackouts that you see happening with YT now.

We’re happy to share that we’ve reached a deal with Disney to return their content to YouTube TV while preserving a $64.99/mo. price for our members. We’ve already started to restore access to Disney networks like ESPN and FX, including their live and on-demand content, as well as any recordings that were previously in your Library. We will also be turning on your local ABC stations over the course of the day. Don’t worry, your personal preferences and recommendations will be just as you left them.

As we promised a $15 discount while the Disney content remained off platform, we will still honor a one-time credit for all impacted Base Plan members.

For active members who have not yet received that $15 discount on their monthly bill, you will automatically receive this one-time credit on your next bill with no action needed. Note that your bill in Settings will not reflect this credit until you have been charged. Members who are in a paused state will receive this credit one month after their first charge. Verizon-billed users will automatically receive this as a one-time discount of $15 on their next bill. After that, the monthly price will revert back to $64.99 for new and existing members.

For any of you who were impacted and have initiated the cancellation process, we will still honor the one-time $15 credit on your bill if you resume your membership before you lose access. Visit tv.youtube.com/membership and click ‘Add’ to return the Base Plan to your membership. Note, you will still see a $64.99 price upon re-activating your membership, but a one-time discount will be reflected in your next bill.

We apologize for the disruption and appreciate your patience as we continued to negotiate on your behalf. We also appreciate Disney's partnership and willingness to work towards an agreement.

As always, thank you for being a YouTube TV member.

Sincerely,
The YouTube TV team
