Such a strategic move by Hulu and Disney to do this right at bowl season!… and then to switch over to Hulu you have to pay for everything… $10 extra a month just to be able to fast forward through your recorded shows and get more than 50 hours of storage space? I hate so much about this crap….

Ya, I guess the YouTube tv feed of ESPN games last night shut off before they were over... cable is way to expensive now also. Ridiculous

Hulu for one month at $10 to get through bowl season and hope YouTube resolves this before that runs up. Fubo is also an option. They have a 14 day free trial if there’s an ABC game I want to watch. If nothing happens after a month, I’ll just switch to something else.

Hulu TV is like $65 a month as well, but at least I can watch the bowl games. I already paused my youtube tv account in case they get this crap figured out, if they dont I will cancel. Nobody cares about the customer anymore.

Cable is no more expensive at this point. It’s also more reliable, doesn’t lag 45 seconds behind, and easier to deal with when combined with internet.

Only downside is the contract, but unless you’re someone who moves a lot it’s not a pain to commit to two years.

Almost two years since I stopped paying for TV. I watch more YouTube these days. Block their ads. Have multiple "streaming" sites that I can catch most pro games in HD. College is hit or miss. But I catch most of them. If it wasn't just me I might pay for a service for them.

Hulu has a 7 day free trial if anyone is wondering how they can watch tonight's VB NC game. Allegedly it's easy to cancel before the 7 days are up.

If I can't watch sports over the air these days I don't watch. I may go to someone else's to watch NU choke in football if it is on cable. Not sure I would reward Disney here by switching to Hulu in this situation.

With the disputes happening more often, being stuck in a contract isn’t a good thing.

YouTubeTV is a joke. Disney has zero fault as YT should pay whatever they need to keep it. These carriage disputes usually get resolved within a few days

Are they happening more often? Seems stuff like this pops up every so often as long as I can remember.

That’s one downside to cable for sure. The upside is they can’t raise prices on me whenever they want like YTTV and Hulu have been doing.

Really??? Whatever they need to keep it, huh? TV providers have to have these proxy fights because content providers keep raising prices. If TV providers just paid "whatever they need" they would just pass it along to you. Then you'd be mad at the TV providers for something else. You'll notice that these fights always take place right before the big games/playoffs/bowl games, etc. Eff 'em all.

Hulu sucks. Hate it. Going back to cable in new house. Like to channel surf between games. Don't like pushing buttons 4 times to change a channel. Recorded shows still watch ads? Lol. No thanks. Never had any problems with spectrum before in old house.

Really? I pause and rejoin YTTV every year and just do it online through my Google account. Never have to make a phone call, never a problem with continuing charges.

I was with YTTV and Hulu but dropped them when they lost the Royals. Went back to Spectrum on a promotion and got three months free and then $64/month for internet and cable for two years. Pretty damn good deal even though I’m not a big fan of cable either.

I just signed up for Hulu with ESPN+, only to find the Neb vs Wisc game isn't listed. WTF is going on!

You need Hulu live, not straight Hulu. I know… it sucks. Change the plan to Hulu live and you will have it, then cancel tomorrow.

So glad I haven’t had YTV in almost a year. Didn’t bother this season because I thought we’d suck and we did so I saved a ton. Won’t buy any streaming service for games until we are good again.
For now I just have the Netflix that comes with my T-Mobile account and Disney plus for the kids. I use free YouTube mostly now

Yep, Bally Sports which used to be Fox regionals is off of a ton of carriers now.

ESPN is in disputes, locals are in disputes. It’s comical how difficult it can be to get the programs you want now.
