Great job to this kid. I can still remember all of the crap Frost took as well as Jurgens in his transition to Center. Kid worked hard and will now get drafted. Great work. I wish he was coming back, but money is money.

Well, I’m sad that he’s leaving but I can’t blame him, with his injury issues, I wouldn’t chance another season in college.

I was up close to the guy when he was a veteran at Detroit. There is no way in hell he weighed 295 when he played at the Vikings. I would have guessed more like 265 to 270. He was dwarfed by his line mates. Listed weights often have little basis in fact. Don't you think it seems odd that he was an even 300 at Nebraska? No way he was that big. We've had O linemen who were listed at 300 admit that they couldn't keep weight on during the season and that they played at more like 265.
FWIW, Jurgens is 6-3, 290, and that's all good weight.

Garrett Bradbury with the Vikings and Corey Linsley with the Packers are both 6-3 and in the 290 to 300 lb range.

Jurgens has excellent athleticism. He's got a ton of fire. Get him some good coaching and he'll be a really good pro IMO. His biggest knock was those high snaps and he seems to have corrected that this year.

But Bradbury sucks and has been a massive bust. He gets pushed around with no resistance.

He will test out as the best offensive Husker in the draft this year, by a lot.

unless Jojo runs a shockingly fast 40, I suspect Cam will be the first Husker picked overall this year.

Of the Olinemen presently on the roster, who would be in line to take that center spot should the portal be a swing and a miss. Hixson has had a couple of auditions at guard that didn't work out so well. Piper? others?

Jurgens is way better than the IOWA center. He will be drafted higher after the combine also!

Can't say I blame him. But hopefully teaches Frost a bit about coaching and loyalty.

They stuck with this dude when he was fcking up every other snap, costing the team multiple games with bad snaps and/or penalties and now he's leaving early.
He's been here for 4 years, hasn't he?

I think Corcoran could be really good at Center. Assuming Teddy P is back at 100% and ready to lock down LT.

Of course a plug and play portal guy, like the dude from Virginia is probably most ideal.
