What are u talking about? This is an unprecedented move by NU.

No other blue blood in history ever in 700 plus years of football, nor any other really good non blue nloodbfootball schools have EVER given a coach with 4,straight losing seasons to start, a 5th year. NEVER once.

Thks is a huge thing, it's a huge negative thing.

This move is a hail Mary at best to replace ur O staff. It's a complete joke, and the joke is on the fans..
That is absolutely correct. Recruiting is finished and Trev just killed not one but two recruiting classes. It defies logic. Frost doesn’t deserve another year.

The thing I find funny is that when Frost was hired, it certainly wasn't sold as a six year rebuild. It was gonna be a much quicker turnaround. But now that he's had a losing record 4 years in a row, now "it's a 6 year rebuild."

David Cutcliffe, when he first got to Duke, got 4 years of almost an identical record to Frost. His 5th year, he went 6-7 but made it to the Belk Bowl (first bowl game since the 90s). His 6th year, he won 10 games. That's the closest comp I can think of off hand. One huge difference in why Cutcliffe got more time despite the losing records is that Duke went 4-42 the previous 4 seasons prior to his arrival.

Cutcliffe
2008 - 4-8
2009 - 5-7
2010 - 3-9
2011 - 3-9
2012 - 6-7

Frost by comparison
2018 - 4-8
2019 - 5-7
2020 - 3-5
2021 - 3-7

Only programs that are ok with losing football games do this. What a joke Nebraska is now. Great we are now comparable to Duke Football. Awesome everyone this is just fine.

just fall in line and support the team the next 2 games..you will have all winter to attack NU and crypto
I hope we lose out. Time for this debacle to end. Our coach is so dumb he won’t even commit to hiring a full-time special teams coach. Do you think Frost just fast forwards through special teams when he watches film the day after a game? He must.

It took 4-years for Frost to realize some of his UCF guys he brought with him were subpar. Austin and Verduzco should have been fired after Year 2. The fact that Frost is this dumb means he should be gone also. He’s an idiot.

When have I ever attacked NU? Frost is not a good HC. Funny how you try to spin me as against Nebraska and not for wanting Frost fired! What a joke. When you want Nebraska to really win let us know.

If you want Nebraska to win , you're not a real fan. Real Nebraska fans are pleased with Frost's performance.

That's how Colin Cowherd classified Nebraska when talking with Joe Klatt on The Herd today. He thinks college programs are either a three year rebuild ( only thinks maybe a dozen schools fit this category,) or a six year build. USC is considered a three year build mainly because of location to recruits. Klatt brought up the fact that the current Husker team only has seven recruits from Texas vs 23 in 2010. Both thought because of the difficulty to attract Texas players that it will be very difficult to return to glory days. Huskers have wrong conference affiliation in order to attract Texas players. Both felt that Trev made the right decision to keep Frost. They agreed that progress has been made and correcting the special teams along OL improvement can get Nebraska to 7-8 wins next year.
I read where Iowa only has three starters that are seniors and only four juniors. They are starting five frosh. Nebraska better win this year at home or it might be a while.

Yeah with this move, nebraska is basically duke or vandy. Blueblood programs dont do what we just did. It worked at duke sort of, but not really by our standards. I assume everyone on here wants to win another national title. Cutcliffe obviously hasnt come close to competing for one. If frost is at Nebraska for as long as Cutcliffe has been at duke, people will be pretty disappointed with the results.
