They are 1-8 and their defense stinks.

They have scored 49 on Texas. Why not put it in the hands of your best unit on the field with a 4th and 1?

“Texas really is historically awful since 1970” is not an accurate statement. Hate Texas all you want, but from 1970 - 1983 (14 years), Texas was 125-36 (.776) with 7 top ten including #3 in 1970 and 1972 and #2 in 1981.
From 1998 - 2009 (12 years), Texas was 128-27 (.826) with 7 top ten finishes including #1 in 2005, #2 in 2009 and #3 in 2008.

Can you add in even SWC Conference Championships, much less Big12 championships, much less National Championships?

The biggest bully on the block should win a **** ton more trophies than Texas has the last 50 years.
