I hate Texass as much as anyone but what are we right now?
really considering resources, we are in the exact same boat as texas,
I'm thinking t-sip booster is just as much cancer as pass happy NU booster.
I guess the good thing is we are not headed to the sec, with the pass happy gayness of alot of NU fans.

run the ball, stop the run, witness the W

They said the 31 point spread was the largest upset in big 12 history. Thrilled that Kansas was able to hang in there and win.

In 1995, Nebraska averaged 400 yards rushing per game while allowing only 78 yards rushing per game to its opponents. The Huskers scored 51 rushing touchdowns in '95 and gave up only six rushing TDs. Nebraska averaged a Division I-A record 7.0 yards per rushing attempt for the entire season, including the bowl game shellacking of numero dose Florida.
yet again, run the ball, stop the run, witness the W

texas has a population of 29 million peoples
Nebraska's population is a bit over 1.5 million
so the chances of texas finding a montana/rice or marino/duper clayton type passing combos are dramatically higher

How about in 2003?
dr. tom offense 1983, rozier rush average 8.3 (still a ncaa record)
dr. tom offense 1993, calvin "endzone" jones rush average 5.6
solich leading rusher 2003, jameal lord "qb" rush average 4.4

so as seen we need to go back to the dr. tom offense to see correct rushing numbers to compete for championships

I've got news for you redwine. As much as we ALL would love to see it, Dr. Tom ain't comin back to coach the Huskers. Frost is likely as close as we could hope to get to that and that might be part of the reason they're going to ride with him a little longer. Solich coached with Tom for decades and he couldn't keep Tom's offense running. If he hadn't had maybe one of the greatest QBs in Nebraska history to bail us out time after time, Tom's offense as run by Frank was in trouble. Some of the option stuff Frost has run this year is as close to Tom's design as anything we'll probably see out of NU.

dr. tom was playing chess
solich was playing checkers
there's a difference...but at least solich tried...
heck frost I think has been playing with himself, with a poster of martinez passing on the ceiling
