He probably ate hamburgers are some point in his life too, maybe even a pizza. Were they factors also?the guy I know who killed himself from taking lsd, smoked weed first
I suspect that's going to be said about a lot of former politicians with the "R" next to their name in the future. Romney, McConnell, Murkowski, pretty much all the ones I listed with the f word in front of them that got changed to **** lol.how bohner was considered a republican we will never know...
Why move when I can get it whenever I want? Even in the '90s it was easy to get, and no state had come close to legalizing it yet.I'm surprised people who want legal weed, and other degeneracies...just don't move to hell holes that allow it..
and stop trying to destroy America..
they can always to SingaporeWhy move when I can get it whenever I want? Even in the '90s it was easy to get, and no state had come close to legalizing it yet.
Weed is here and there's nothing you can do about it. Decriminalizing it is just to put a stop to worthless arrests that accomplish nothing. Do you think that if the police got lucky and found my weed and arrested me that I'd stop using it? The penalty is a slap on the wrist for crying out loud. And stomp your feet all you want, but good luck trying to elect politicians that want to crack down on it, at least at the state/fed level.
I'm surprised people who are afraid of weed don't just move to communes somewhere.
For someone who is getting it so easily, isnt addicted, and never getting punished for it you sure are up in arms about this. Calm down. Why move when I can get it whenever I want? Even in the '90s it was easy to get, and no state had come close to legalizing it yet.

Look at how many people are killed in car crashes every year. Cars kill. Therefore, cars should also be illegal, right?seriously it does more harm than weed and people have no self control to regulate it.
Harry Anslinger is a treasonous coward. In the 1930s Harry J. Anslinger, head of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics, turned the battle against marijuana into an all-out war. Some believe that he was motivated less by safety concerns—the vast majority of scientists he surveyed claimed that the drug was not dangerous—and more by a desire to promote his newly created department. Whatever the impetus, Anslinger sought a federal ban on the drug, and to this end he initiated a high-profile campaign that relied heavily on racism. Anslinger claimed that the majority of pot smokers were minorities, including African Americans, and that marijuana had a negative effect on these “degenerate races,” such as inducing violence or causing insanity. Furthermore, he noted, “Reefer makes darkies think they’re as good as white men.” Perhaps even more worrisome to Anslinger was pot’s supposed threat to white women’s virtue. He believed that smoking pot would result in their having sex with black men.
Aided by an eager news media—and such propaganda films as Reefer Madness (1936)—Anslinger eventually oversaw the passage of the Marihuana Tax Act in 1937, which effectively made the drug illegal across the United States.

Tax revenue doesn’t benefit the state? People will believe anything without question if the conclusion fits their narrative. For someone who is getting it so easily, isnt addicted, and never getting punished for it you sure are up in arms about this. Calm down.
Heres a very comprehensive report from a group that has put them put every year since legalization. I had the opportunity to see them present this once. Very eye opening. Its comprehensive so read it all, but the cliff notes are provided in the first few pages of “executive summary”. Pretty alarming details regarding usage, deaths, and black market. Check it out unless you just dont want to argue with facts and want to keep with pot head talking points.
This small blip below has a few things, including the lie that tax revenue benefitsthe state. Everything in this can be found in the link above.
According to this, traffic violations and deaths are not only getting worse, but also more people are yousing more drugs in colorado….among other findings in this report from police. This is one of the sources the rocky mountain high group
Amazing what people dont know. Legalizing pot does not improve society, plain and simple, it gets worse.
Out of respect for your well-written post, I'll try and read through the 63 pages. So far though what I'm seeing is current data being compared to 2013 data. Are they unable to compare to pre-MJ days? Like did they not test drivers for weed before it was legalized? I dunno. But I know that I'm willing to take the risks so that I can get the legal stuff versus the plant. But I'll read more and post again. For someone who is getting it so easily, isnt addicted, and never getting punished for it you sure are up in arms about this. Calm down.

That says all you need to know about whether this paper was written from a biased perspective or not.Tax revenue doesn’t benefit the state? People will believe anything without question if the conclusion fits their narrative.
PJ sure isAs far as usage stats go, you can throw those out the window. There's no way to know how many people were lying about marijuana use when it was illegal. But common sense would tell you that people will be more honest and open about it if it's deemed "ok". Just like gay people, here in Mpls they are very open about it, but I bet not so much in Lincoln.
Did ya miss the part about how much more they spend because of the legality of it? Thats the point, tax revenue is offset by more expenses. From the article:
"Marijuana tax revenue represent approximately 0.85% of Colorado’s FY 2019 budget."
Notice how the author is trying to minimize this? Saying "0.85%" makes it sound like peanuts, but if they listed the actual number (I googled and found the budget to be 32.5 Billion) saying $275 Million no longer sounds like peanuts.
I know I said I'd read the whole thing, but the bias is so f-ing obvious.
.85% is .85% no matter how you slice it, dude. If your budget is so high, it literally is peanuts. In other words, who cares if its 275 million, you arent really benefiting it.From the article:

How much do you realistically believe would be offset?Legalize it, tax it, offset property taxes with it.
Govt will NEVER decrease taxes if you open new revenue. They will simply find other ways to spend.
