In my opinion, the most critical game for Frost this year will be how the Huskers perform against Ohio State.
Three weeks ago, I was 100% for SF being let go. Then a couple weeks ago, SF FINALLY began to replace some of the pathetic starters we had in the OL, and I began my flip-flop, I felt Trev was having a huge impact on SF, and the program was benefitting.
I predicted before the season NU would finish 4-8. Those offensive changes made me adjust my prediction to 5-7, a slight chance at 6-6. Now I am willing, not that any of us have any say in the matter, to consider keeping SF, even at 5-7.
That 5-7 is totally dependent on how NU does against OSU. If NU plays very well and loses 35-28 or something like that, I could eat that 5-7 record. But, if NU has a poor day and OSU throws at will and gives NU a beatdown something like 42-14, then it's time for SF to go.
The probable wins against MN and Purdue, and even a close loss to IA would be acceptable, but a blowout loss to OSU might spell SF's doom.
Just an opinion, feel free to agree or disagree.
