Yes, I rewatch the condensed 40 minute version of just about every game because it's a better use of my time than listening to you idiots. The prior two years, Caleb Tannor had been pushed around on just about every play and contributed absolutely nothing. Just watch, he was the worst starter in DI football at any position. He's improved a lot this year, but that was from a very low starting point. He's still a mediocre player who gets pushed around a lot, but at least now his teammates are good enough to cover for him and he does make a good play every once in awhile. I played DE, and I know exactly what his assignments should be. Like I said, he's doing better this year, but the prior two years, he hardly ever got his assignment right.

Sweet! If you have Eric's schemes for the last 4 years I'd love to see them.

Dawson sucks and I hope he gets fired. He's finally turned Tannor into an okay pass rusher when he has the athletic talent to be elite. Nelson hasn't really improved much from his Freshman year. I don't see much of an upgrade over the previous guy we had.

Why is it surprising that one of the worst stretches in Nebraska football history would produce one of the worst starters in Nebraska football history? And yes, he’s worse than everyone on Leodisflower's list. One mediocre year this year where his teammates are good enough to cover his weaknesses doesn't makeup for 3 years of the worst starter to take the field for Nebraska in its history. At least Tannor is getting his assignments right sometimes this year. I'll give him credit for that. Can't say that about anytime prior to this year.

Couldn't find a similar video of Tannor, but here's a "highlight" video of Alex Davis who might be as comparable player as we can get. As bad as Davis's play is and his reluctance to even make contact with the opposing team, Tannor's play was even worse than this the prior two years.

I for one am glad he's back. I think he's a damned good coach and the mishaps on special teams this year I don't believe lie at his feet. He's not a kicking coach nor should we expect him to be. We have to recruit better punters for one and who could have predicted that your kicker would get the damned yips at OU.

Sadly, we've given scholarships to specialists but they've largely flopped. Giving Cerni one it seems might not have been a great idea. He's got a huge leg but clearly he's inconsistent. The MSU transfer Przystup is a traditional guy but he shanked one at MSU too. I actually think he walked on. I know why they went after Cerni but man he cost us at MSU. I think both Henery and Foltz started out at least as walk ons. Nationally you have to be REALLY good to get a scholarship as a kicker.

Peel the onion my friend… the simplest answer isn’t that 1 person is right and a dozen are clueless… how about the possibility that you will never entertain: everyone else is right and you are wrong. You are the furthest thing from a threat; this is just a bad thread for you.

My initial comment in this thread could have been my only comment if people just accepted it. I think Tannor's a bad player, big deal. But then everyone starts jumping in and attacking me, and then I have to defend myself.
