Stop looking at names and start looking at results. Other than OSU, who isn’t average in the Big 10? Michigan has a big name, average results. Same with Texas. Nebraska has an average name and is below average. I know the truth hurts. All 4 of this teams would beat Nebraska right now.
And let’s not get into hoops... a final 4 team, along with Cincy. I think this will be better than people think.
Not speculatingLOL. That’s what I thought. Throwing out speculation as fact.
BYU will make it tough for the rest of the league. Say goodbye to any games on Sunday. I know this doesn't effect football, but sure does other sports.
WCC that Gonzaga is in with BYU has their basketball tournament in Vegas. The Championship game is always on Monday. And Bye-Bye to KU/KC having a stranglehold on the site of annual post-season hoops tournaments

Not excited about byu or cincinnati, but I like the other two.
I wish they would drop west virginia, skip on cincinnati and byu. And instead, pick up Louisiana, SMU, and USF or something.
If you look at it, BYU, might be the "key" piece of those 4 because of their following and fan base, which is really sad.Superbigfan is correct. They can have those four schools, but combined they are not coming close to the TV audience that Oklahoma and Texas generated. And now they have two more teams to divide the revenue with. The cyclone fan on here can dream all he wants about more revenue, but it ain’t happening. And he knows it.
There are brasky fans who see stepping down a level from the B1G to the revamped Big 12 as a good thing? Y'all are pitiful. That conference has something special going. Yes they are a borderline power conference, but they have something the rest of the power conferences don’t have. That being they are all truly equal teams. Their is nobody holding up the rest of the conference. They either succeed or fail as a collective. No Ohio St, USC, Alabama, Clemson type to hold up a sinking ship (And making demands that benefit only them) I actually kinda wish Nebraska could get in on that action. Yes I know it’s a pipe dream. But it would be fun.
the only problem I have with the big 10 is the wokeness / bball attitude..There are brasky fans who see stepping down a level from the B1G to the revamped Big 12 as a good thing? Y'all are pitiful.
Yep, Army was once a powerhouse in football about 4 generations ago. All things change as most here are quite well aware of.If you look at it, BYU, might be the "key" piece of those 4 because of their following and fan base, which is really sad.
CFB is a game about tradition and history, it is really hard to break into it. How many "new" teams are there in CFB in the last 30 years?
Oregon?
KSU?
Wisconsin?
No you are missing the point. Things are not changing when it comes to who roots for college football teams.Yep, Army was once a powerhouse in football about 4 generations ago. All things change as most here are quite well aware of.
Beat Iowa this weekend. You guys literally make me chuckle that you are over here chirping. You hit the lottery with Campbell... Good job... You still haven't won anything of significance and I find it comical that the perennial doormat of the Big 12 is over here running his mouth before any games of significance have been played. This weekend will be a good start if you can win, but Iowa has owned you. Every damn year your fans say the same thing, but that result probably won't change..... Lot's of football to play, but congrats on your preseason ranking.Yep, Army was once a powerhouse in football about 4 generations ago. All things change as most here are quite well aware of.
30 million Mormons in the US. They probably have a few football fans considering they are a cult.Yea, why not? Keeps the conference more "regional". Also, I'm not a fan of cincinnati, byu, or WVU, so excluding them would make me happier.
Do cincinnati and byu really draw more eyes than the other teams? If so, damn, color me shocked.

Just read an interview with ISU ad Jamie Pollard about a story that Pete thamal wrote saying that big 12 shouldn't/wouldn't stop at 4 teams but ultimately would go larger and go coast to coast.Superbigfan is correct. They can have those four schools, but combined they are not coming close to the TV audience that Oklahoma and Texas generated. And now they have two more teams to divide the revenue with. WCC is definitely a ”typical” mid major conference but surely you don’t deceive yourself by thinking the Zags are a second rate, lower level power. Few should have stayed on the Washington side of the stateline. Those Idaho cops didn’t give him much of a break last night.Yes. The Monday preceding Selection Sunday. Like a typical mid-major.
