Thats an opinion. Mine is that he will be a draft pick this year and probably would've been a low pick last year. We will find out soon enough....

It’s not an opinion. He sought draft feedback from the NFL prior to announcing his intentions. That he came back is all you need to know about how he’s viewed.

Sure seems like he has been screwing up for 6 years.

Nah....I actually feel like he's been a pretty good player. He has struggled so far this year for sure. But imo he's been our best CB since his second year. I like him better than Bootle or Lamar. Again though I agree on special teams it's a big no for me.

Stick Martin there if he’s the only one who can catch it. Love Cam but he cannot be at that spot. He’s not even really a threat when he catches it

Not sure what you mean by that. The fact that he came back means nothing. Maybe he felt like he could improve on where they had him rated? They say he's a 6th rounder. To which he says I'll come back and try and improve my rating.

We don't know what they told him or what his thought process was. Maybe he says if he's a 4 or higher he's going pro. They tell him he's a 6 so he comes back.

Him coming back doesn't tell us anything about him NOT being drafted which is what you said.

sounds like cam is becoming a problem area,
perhaps a sit down down is needed asap, and explain what's expected, and what's not expected,
here on out...or some warming of the pine maybe needed.

And sorry his 4 career picks dont add up to his ST blunders that cost Nebraska big time against Iowa and Illinois and then again today. Thank goodness we were playing the sisters of the poor.

Hope to not see Taylor-Britt return a punt for the rest of the season..

Can’t believe we haven’t found a return man other than him and Oliver Martin..

Not surprised when we have started Ervin who is our 6th best RB on the team and also Liewer who would be my 7th option at WR...

with 5 rb's and supposed talent at wr, you would think they could scrape someone up for returns, with good hands and min mistakes

I think it's pretty tough to put a number ranking on WRs and RBs right now. All of the guys at RB and WR bring something different to the table. Liewer is an athletic guy with good hands, is a good blocker and is always in the right place. There's a reason Adrian has gone to him so often on 3rd down. He gets open and catches the ball. Ervin is a very talented kid with good speed, vision and hands. IMO, the speed of the game is a little fast for him right now. He's going to do nothing but get better. He didn't earn a start by being #6. Personally I'm a Marvin Scott fan. I think he runs as hard as anybody on the depth chart. We have the luxury of having 6 really good backs on the roster now IMO. Finally.

I'm not basing off potential - we need to win now.

1. Stepp
2. Morrison
3. Scott
4. Yant
5. Johnson
6. Ervin

1. Toure
2. Martin
3. Betts
4. Manning
5. Brown
6. Falck
7. Liewer

Betts doesn't consistently catch the ball and has had some issues with his routes. We play quite a few receivers and Liewer up to this point had been the most consistent of the lot. Toure and Martin are pretty damned good. Manning looks great but what I hear makes me think he has some issues with consistency in practice. You and I are not qualified to determine playing time.

Betts is also a lazy blocker if the ball isnt coming to his side.

I would put Yant #3. He ran hard yesterday.

Check out his press conference
I just did. He didn't say anything about Cam "deserving" to field punts. He did say that he was one of their best players, a blackshirt and a captain, and that he thought he would learn from his mistake.

My mistake. I thought he said he deserved it. I am wrong, but I still think SF was justifying putting him back there when it should have been obvious from the past that he should not. How many times does he get to make mistakes?

Agreed nearly 💯. I don't get the start Ervin now thing. I can totally see he has snagging potential and will be good in time (perhaps great even). But for now, it's clearly Stepps job as starter and SF better not eff this up again like he did with Ozigbo. I too think Ervin is about 6th.

I seriously have no clue how anyone can make informed assumptions based on the little evidence we have seen so far. We are struggling with a O line that clearly is not prepared and a QB who is a good runner but has trouble executing fundamental plays.

Our RBs too often get hit in their tracks and there wasn't much of a "clean pocket" with Illinois not that it would have made much difference.

I have yet to see anyone ask this but how does a LB make 30 tackles against your team? Watch the film and count the number of times we got off the first level. Sad

Judging from the way Frost has run his outfit the past four years - unlimited.

Please tell me how impressive this pile of garbage was today? Gave up what, 4 first down throws and doesn't know how to call out PETER PETER PETER. He is a liability along with the Oline and Culp.

The special teams circus continued today. 3 missed FGs and another botched PR from CTB. Clown show ********!!

Was that PR snafu really HIS fault though? To me that was more on the blockers than it was CTB.
