I can’t believe the amount of people who seem to be completely ok with this. Get a grip, this program attempted to cheat and got caught! I don’t care what other programs get away, I only care about Nebraska. And right now it appears we have a head coach who is completely out of his league!

What makes this bad is it was during covid.
think if it came out some kid got really sick from the illegal work outs. That would be bad.
the advantage of practice is a no no. They can give money , cheat on test but the covid twist makes it bad in the NCAA eyes.
Probably a one year bowl band.
Why would this be a bowl band ?

That's embarrassing.

Whatever happened to

"If it’s in Uzbekistan, we’ll probably have to stop at a couple places on the way over there. Wherever and whenever we get a chance to play, our guys are just excited to get a chance to compete,"

Unless it's Oklahoma. Then not excited to compete.

Or unless it's a bowl game and it's going to be cold. Then I will defer to my QB -- who doesn't really 'compete' during the regular season anyway -- and, surprise, surprise -- he chooses not to 'compete' in a bowl game.

No wonder the team laid down like a dog against Illinois last year.

And Minnesota the year before.

So this is what the NCAA is focused on enforcing? Never mind all those McDonald's bags filled with cash given to recruits over the years in the $EC.
The NCAA is a pathetic joke of an organization. They are like the Democrat party of CFB. Zero leadership. Zero accountability. They throw crap against the wall and hope it sticks. The Boz was right many years ago!!

Hell LSU players were being seen getting hand outs after winning the national title on the playing field..

Laugh at my post all you want WHCSC, this program is a joke currently and people seem to think it’s perfectly fine. Ask yourself this, would you have put up with this crap 25 years ago? How about even 10 years ago? Yet here some of you are, defending a joke of a coach because he went to school here. That’s your only reason. ANYBODY ELSE and the mob would be storming north stadium!

These "violations" are workouts that our media openly talked about last year. They weren't some secret thing that nobody knew about. The workouts were completely compliant with the rules and the investigation will find that. This is not going to lead to anything.

How profound

There were definitely never reports of misconduct 25 years ago, and had there been, there certainly wouldn’t be a single person to look the other way

Oh, wait……..

I don't want to win enough to be placed on NCAA probation, I just want to win enough to warrant an investigation.

Good heavens. Off campus team meetings? Wow now that's a horrendous criminal act. Can the NCAA get any more worthless?
The thing about that, is you can't say that was on accident. There is no plausible deniability there.

I'm not worried about the NCAA or the infraction.

What this does however is give more insight into Scott Frost and what is going on down there.

I think he should be fired immediately.

Put Ryan Held in charge for the remainder of the year and see who is available at the end of the season.

multiple people were involved with the discussion. Some of this stuff might be unfounded crap being thrown at the wall. We've seen time after time false crap tweeted out which never has to be retracted.
"Might be unfounded" but then again it may be and there may be more. Can't just have it one way.

People are already pointing fingers.

Think how this works. Someone had to send the information to the NCAA with some kind of evidence as they can't check every single thing. The NCAA does a follow-up, calling some people to verify if said "evidence" has legs. If the NCAA thinks there is enough to go on, then they do their "investigation."

There would be no reason to spill the beans or leak as some have said, anything until there is a real investigation, by that time, everyone would know anyway.

Much worse than this was going on 25 years ago

If you cheat and you have a .375 winning percentage does it still count? He's done after this year...

Of course, this just goes to show how little league UCF is. Frost can go undefeated at a small school like UCF in a easy *** conference and gets exposed for the fraud that he is in a big boy league.

Minor allegations but good grief, it’s the last thing Frost needs to happen right now.

There will be collateral effects in any event. All the major publications.... CBS Sports, ESPN, SI, Chicago Sun Times, et. al. are starting to publish the report. It can't help recruiting, donations, other important program considerations.

Also, IIRC the practice ban was initiated by the Big Ten so the they may get involved independent of any NCAA investigation.

What a joke this program has become under Frost. He cheats and cannot even win. We should use this to cut his bag, pay him nothing and let him sort it out with the lawyers. I mean, at least we can say that under him we have self-imposed a bowl ban for the last 3 years, so please go easy on us so that his replacement can actually get a fresh start.

There is intent to pay players all the time and it happens openly in the SEC there is no hiding that and they do..

What this tells me is he broke the rules, on purpose by taking it offsite, so that it could not be 'sanctioned' onsite. It's a deliberate attempt to get around something.

Same thing with the OU game.

If it was really a budget issue like we were told, then that is much different than trying to dodge an old opponent because you can't take the *** whipping and instead are a coward.

That's what he is, and we have known it since LP's girlfriend was drug down the stairs withe Scott hiding in a closet.

Fire this coward, so we can move on from the yearly embarrassment that is Scott Frost..

I hope Trev does the right thing.

That’s what I don’t understand about practice. Nebraska was practicing inside NCAA guidelines as far is I knew, just not the BIG. I believe Ohio State was doing the same also.

Moos wasn’t doing his job.. He hadn’t attend any home Basketball or Baseball games after the new year..

They checked his office and they have a security card to get in and he wasn’t there for months according to his pouch in card is what I was told…

He was living on his ranch In Montana…
Ok so you covered for Moos. As an probably has mo
Alberts was brought in for one purpose only, babysit Frost through this year to keep him from making professional and personal mistakes that will embarrass the University.
I would say he’s off to a poor start.
It happened before Trev got here
