That’s what I don’t understand about practice. Nebraska was practicing inside NCAA guidelines as far is I knew, just not the BIG. I believe Ohio State was doing the same also.
The McMurphy tweet specifically mentioned the NCAA involvement for "improper use of analysts" whatever that means. The "practice" issue was almost mentioned as an aside for the purpose of pointing out that it was done clandestinely.

Time for this clown to go. It is just non stop embarrassment under Scotty. Choose an interim for this season and evaluate some hot assistant coaches through out the season or something. Just cut the losses and move on.

I can’t believe the amount of people who seem to be completely ok with this. Get a grip, this program attempted to cheat and got caught! I don’t care what other programs get away, I only care about Nebraska. And right now it appears we have a head coach who is completely out of his league!
he's so desperate he would knowingly cheat. Thats not a good decision making and should reflect poorly on Frost.
even if the activities were minor in nature why do it?
it gives a glimpse of his character

What this tells me is he broke the rules, on purpose by taking it offsite, so that it could not be 'sanctioned' onsite. It's a deliberate attempt to get around something.

Same thing with the OU game.

If it was really a budget issue like we were told, then that is much different than trying to dodge an old opponent because you can't take the *** whipping and instead are a coward.

That's what he is, and we have known it since LP's girlfriend was drug down the stairs withe Scott hiding in a closet.

Fire this coward, so we can move on from the yearly embarrassment that is Scott Frost..

I hope Trev does the right thing.

LOL… If you were there with him you would have been in the closet right with him holding his hand..

Any examples from RSS, given that's what you suggested? What you've shared so far are just people asking questions. I have honestly never seen a single person call for firing Frost. I've never been on the Husker board but I'm sure it's full of all kinds of brilliant insights. Free and anonymous doesn't lead to a well informed group.

Fair enough. This is the first one I've ever seen on this board. The others are just asking questions.

Plenty just in this thread. Quite the coincidence.

Not a big deal until some kind of verdict (if any) is handed down by the ncaa along with action (if any) by AD Alberts. Have to wait and see what happens.

I'm pumping the brakes on this. Yes there's some things that have seemed strange ever since the ou debacle and Moos sudden retirement.

To me the most easily blatant violation would be the analyst issue. I think it's pretty spelled out what they can and cannot do. Frost knows or should know the rules and same goes for the analyst. You know why you were hired and your job description....or should.

Where's the compliance department in this? Maybe they only deal with the athletes.

Ever since the transfer portal and now nil was allowed the NCAA has allowed everything to become the wild wild west. This they will crack down on to try to prove their relevance.

Will be interesting if nu puts out a self imposed penalty or do they wait for NCAA investigation to go through and announce findings. Get rid of analyst's for 2 years? Surely the NCAA could recognize it did us no good!! Maybe they'll feel sorry for us if we show them our game film of special teams play over the last 3 seasons.

That's what I was thinking is NCAA releases finding, school has chance to respond to finding and offer they're opposition or their self imposed penalty. At that time NCAA either accepts what school has proposed or adds to it

Hell, nearest I can tell, there's a few hundred professional analysts here. The unpaid kind. Probably doing a better job too.
Amateur unpaid analysts who are doing a lot of bloviating. From the number of recent threads and number of comments, it's not so much about football.

What a joke this program has become under Frost. He cheats and cannot even win. We should use this to cut his bag, pay him nothing and let him sort it out with the lawyers. I mean, at least we can say that under him we have self-imposed a bowl ban for the last 3 years, so please go easy on us so that his replacement can actually get a fresh start.
If he is found on a violation that damages the school somehow you might be able to let go of him without a buyout course they will surely play out in court.

The safer move is for NU to cut his bag now, not pay him and let him take it to court because he doesn't have the integrity to step down.

Sounds like minor stuff to me. I'm proud of Frost for pushing the envelope. Other than that, yawn.

It was either Nebraska or Florida… Get a clue..

He’s lucky he choose Nebraska, he would have already been fired by UF. Can you imagine him in the SEC? Woof! Luckily for them…they wouldn’t allow him to bring all of his buddies.

As I said, he should have stayed at UCF. But, he is going to be a rich man…albeit his legacy will be tarnished but likely worth it for the amount of money his making for zero results.

This is great news. If Frost has another bad season, they can fire him with cause over the NCAA investigation and avoid paying that $20 million buyout. If he has a good season, then great.

This is a hand slap written reprimand type of violation IF THAT and IF the allegation is true. Whole bunch of panties in a wad.

Could Trev be behind this? That is the question I am pondering.
Way too much circular reaching thinking. If Frost starts winning I want to keep him as coach. These allegations are trivial, on the edge greay area, borderline minor rule infractions. Players have a right to ask where they can go to workout and an analyst can walk on the field.

It goes to show what the majority of the country believes..UCF is a pretender. If Frost can win 10+ games at UCF, anybody can. He should have 100% stayed in the little league conference.
wow either you are really mad or really jealous. I don't consider losing to Northwestern, Illinois, and Minnesota big leagues LOL I consider it pathetic. But whatever makes you happy dude.

I've said to fire Frost on multiple gameday threads, so have many others. There's no excuse for not making a bowl game at Nebraska.

Jealous of what exactly? UCF could go undefeated for the next ten years and none of it would matter. It’s pretty clear, unless you are in a power 5 conference you are obsolete and even more so in the near future with the changing landscape.

How so? How many New Year's 6 games has UCF been in vs Nebraska in the past 10 years? Obsolete? Going 12-20 is obsolete. At least people talk about us hate or or not.

can I ask why you would want to keep him?

he's completely undesirable in my opinion, not just in wins or losses, but in character as well.
