definition of a heavyweight fight

both were pretty clearly the top teams in the country all year

I'm taking the points (and Baylor ML), and I think it's going to be a great game. very excited!

This was Gonzaga’s season the whole way. It will be the first perfect season in 45 years, since Bob Knight of Indiana, finalized today on 4/5 in Indiana. Both teams had 45 at halftime last round. Gonzaga favored by 4.5
ML=GONZAGA!

Going with the ZAGS.

The NC Game was pretty much played the other day IMO between UCLA and the ZAGS. ULCA got hot at the right time, and it took a monumental effort to beat them even for Gonzaga. Having said that I think the ZAGS are a lot more battle tested, have the better players, the better coach, and history is riding on their side.

Hope it’s Gonzaga but think Baylor is very strong physically compared to UCLA and playing back at pre covid level. It has also proven very hard to go undefeated. If I had to bet I would say Baylor.

I think the Zags will probably win, but man can Baylor play D at times. Their guards will put a ton of pressure on Gonzaga guards. I hope when Timme celebrates his mustache someone accidently drops him and elbow. Can't stand that guy.

Baylor's defense is a constrictor and gets tighter the longer the game. Watching D'Mitchell on J'Suggs tonight should be high drama right out of the chute. Baylor will pressure Zag guards to keep Timme from getting the ball or he'll have a big night. Baylor has three guys down low but none even close to Timme's class. If Baylor's treys are falling, they win in a shoot-out. I'm going with the B12 Baptists.

I want the Zags to win, but I just have this gut feeling that Baylor pulls it off. Pulling off an incredible victory 48 hours ago and then having to play a defense like Baylor after they coasted just seems like a lot for anyone to ask.

So the low-major, the team that kicked the **** out of the Jays...is getting KILLED so far by a P5 school.

Announcers keep saying Zags look “tired.” No, they look like they’re getting out-athleted, because they are. Can’t stay in front of their guys, can’t keep Baylor off the glass, can’t find any space to operate on offense. Maybe it will change, but they look helpless.

Well, so far it's been all Baylor. I couldn't imagine a worst start for Gonzaga. They are getting throttled.

Da Bears, Da Bears, Da Bears. Gonzaga had a tough game Saturday, and it took everything they had to win. Coming down to Earth from that euphoria and then getting up again against a very talented team in Baylor is easier said than done. However, we've seen big leads evaporate in games all the time, so Gonzaga might be able to get a second wind and make a game of it, we shall see.

Baylor’s shot selection is also outstanding. They know how to find seams and knock down mid-range shots, which is kind of rare these days.

Hard to believe the Zags got it back to 10. Feels like it could have been 30.

It’s straight up Amazing they’re down 10. Baylor is sniping from outside. I was thinking the same as some other posters, Baylor looks 10 times more athletic at every position. I’m still taking the Zags to win 😉

A game like this tonight is a reason that Gonzaga would lose 3 or 4 games in a power 5 conference playing in a more physical and upgrade talent conference of players..

I don't care who wins but you have to think Baylor will cool down a bit.

Baylor is shooting 47% to Gonzaga's 55%. Baylor is absolutely destroying them on the boards and just a far superior team athletically. Gonzaga should have never beat UCLA to begin with.

I’ve not been impressed with Kispert in the tournament and he’s completely overmatched tonight. Good thing for him the All-America balloting is done by early March.

Zags would have never entered the tournament unbeaten in a Power 5 conference..

Disappointed it wasn't more of a game. I actually stopped watching and went and washed the dishes. The game was over by the time I finished.
