Baylor looked like they were a step ahead all game. Faster, more athletic and more willing and able to impose their will all over the court.

Impressive performance by them. I picked Gonzaga and was completely off base. Wow

So the low-major, the team that kicked the **** out of the Jays...is getting KILLED so far by a P5 school.

LOL Unfortunately, I don't think any fan of a Big 10 team has any room to crack on any other team this year, particularly a team that made it to the sweet 16, whether that was by beating two double digit seeds or otherwise.

the national champs and the likely #1 overall pick both in the Big 12

meanwhile, the b1g has slow-footed giants whose names will never be spoken again and 8 of 9 bids watching the Sweet 16 on tv

Nobody owns November like the Big Ten.

I'm just shocked ESPN left Wisconsin out of its top 10. Andy Katz must not work there anymore.

So Gonzaga gets credit going unbeaten and loses in the Finals (has lost twice in 4 years) and the Big 10 is over rated losing the Finals 7 times since 2002.

Got it.

Citing a preseason media poll as evidence that the Big Ten is NOT overrated - priceless.

They were this year, I’ll admit that but you make it sound like it’s a every year occurrence...
I think the Big Ten is overrated every year, although this was the first year that "Best. Conference. Ever." was added to the talking points. Hopefully that laugher will be shelved for a while.

Why not?

This is a husker site, why not crack on the Jays and their "miracle season" that ended with a 20 point loss to a low-major. And really a first round loss to a super low-major, if the ref made a call.

I think over the last 20 years the Big Ten has the most FF appearances.

Now, I get it, winning it all is clearly the most important thing but people need to stop acting like it is some horrible basketball conference.

In case anyone has actually taken this whine seriously in the dozen or so times it's been repeated here, the play in question happens right at the 2:00 mark of this video. Not a foul at any level above the 4th grade.

That is a foul at every level. Why would it not be?

Because there's not enough contact for any official in his right mind to blow the whistle. Ask 1,000 people who know their butt from a hole in the ground about basketball, and they're all going to tell you the same thing.

Look I said at the time that Creighton got incredibly lucky, because all the UCSB player had to do was square up and knock in a wide-open 8-footer. But he had a convulsion instead. and managed to turn it into a difficult shot. To still be claiming that was a foul two weeks later is pathetic.

You are admitting that it is a foul, you admitted that there was contact, you are just saying that it should not be called, even though, as you said, there was contact.

Why get upset about it? I am assuming you are a Jay fan, just embrace the fact that you got the win. Who cares how??

So any amount of contact is automatically a foul? Are you sure you've ever watched basketball?

I'm not upset, I just find it amusing that someone would keep gasbagging on and on and on about a play that nobody else on Earth thinks was a foul. Because maybe if you just repeat the same thing 5,000 times, it might come true!

Yes, contact = foul.

And I appreciate you finding my posts funny. I know a lot of times when people don't agree on things it can be hard to still be complimentary but even though we don't agree, it was kind of you tel let me know you find my posts funny. Thank you! I really do appreciate that.

Yes, contact = foul.

Maybe your instructional videos need to be updated?

Pretty sure the Zags kicked the **** out of all but 2 teams all season. UCLA and Baylor. I think all of their other games were double digit wins.
