I hope one of those seniors isn't starting. We have two seniors coming back at safety and he can’t get medically cleared at Wisconsin. It seems like QB, OLB and even OG and slot WR are bigger needs.
That being said, he is obviously a good player that could help a thin secondary, especially in 2022.

Those seniors coming back ain’t exactly world-beaters.
Let him walk oni am being told. started Safety for Wiscy. I guess it helps to have his girlfriend on Nebraska's softball team.
We’re desperate for better players at every position except place kickerWe have two seniors coming back at safety and he can’t get medically cleared at Wisconsin. It seems like QB, OLB and even OG and slot WR are bigger needs.

A team that views a 7-win season as a monumental achievement can use all the help it can get
give them to the best players who are willing to take themTrue. But we only have two scholarships left to give.
I would absolutely love to have him! Think how much more holding we could get away with in the secondary now?
Talk about player development. Pearson was a 3 star recruit in 2018 who’s power 5 offers were: Wisconsin, Iowa State and Syracuse.
You mean like the former Iowa OLinemen, Ezra Miller, that is on the roster now? From a liability standpoint, we are not taking a kid that was not cleared to play football at another football program...not a chance.

Wasn’t that just a charade created by the Iowa staff to put him on medical?

Yeah but you have to remember each of our starting safeties will have to sit out at least in a 2-3 games due to targeting if they don't change how they tackle.
didnt we just open up another spot?True. But we only have two scholarships left to give.
didnt we just open up another spot?
if so then 3 qbs please
you mean you're not supposed to tackle with a blunt shoulder hit? seems like an effective approachYeah but you have to remember each of our starting safeties will have to sit out at least in a 2-3 games due to targeting if they don't change how they tackle.
Actually, that’s three or four guys who, if they received a scholarship, earned it.How many players currently on the roster fit this situation? Walked on with the hope of a scholarship? Seems to be at least three or four, that's a lot of extra scholarships laying around.

Not sure why this approach would get your knickers in a twist...
Not meant to be argumentative... I guess I just don’t see why having them walk on and earn a scholarship is a bad thing. Maybe I read in to your question something that wasn’t there. If so, my bad.Sheez tim, who has their "knickers in a twist"? I just asked a legitimate question but I guess that isn't allowed these day.
