it does get rather tiresome seeing all the negative crap, doesn’t it. Myself, I’ll gladly wait and see how things go next season before I start claiming “The ships sinking” or any of that noise and BS.
When we finally had a season during a pandemic with all the issues before hand, all the spring practices and camp missed, shortened and missed practices and all of that considered, I said it before the season even started that I wouldn’t make any judgement calls no matter what, even if we went 0-8 and I’m sticking to it.
Now, onto the main subject here, N Cooper leaving is no big deal. A big hit or lose would have been if G Nelson, G Reimers, N Henrichs, W Honas, Jojo Domann, J Wright, P Payne or one of the 4 true freshmen LBs coming in. But a back up of a back up leaving (and not even that) so he has a chance to play instead of warming the bench? Yes sir, no big deal and nothing to see here. Move along.

Alot of Husker Fans are sick of these type of post that come from a handful.

Been on this board for a few days he immediately jumped out as first person to put on ignore. He’s unbearable.
He wasn't even a starter on his juco team if I recall correctly. Just another case of grabbing a project late in the recruiting season and having it not work out.
This board would shut down from inactivity if you could only post positive things about the Husker program.
Niko seemed to be a good special teams guy who provided depth. Looking at our depth chart though barring injuries I don't think he was going to play much on D. Sad to see him go but IF people are going to lose their minds every time a kid transfers with the new transfer rules, they are going to be perpetually unhappy. Many people wanted basically free agency for college athletes. This is what you're going to get. I think the stats on the average college student completing their studies at the first university they enroll at is under 70%. I think nationally that number will end up being quite a bit lower for football and basketball players.
Cooper was physically put together and I thought coaches liked his potential.

He's over the top right now but makes valid points at times. Nobody is overly happy with the state of Husker football right now and he's just very vocal with his unhappiness.
Since you've only been on here a couple days I'll let you know - Rambo is a good poster. Stucknks is either a troll or an idiot. Probably both. For some reason this really resonated with me as one of the more accurate descriptions of the state of the program.
Cooper was a non factor. He saw what many players see. A lot of bodies in front of him and some being very young. The problem was probably from the beginning. He probably wasn't needed by NEB from the outset.
He could have counted all the bodies and seen the difficulty but he chose to ignore the numbers. I suppose its not an easy decision where to play ball when all these coaches tell you everything you want to hear. Then the truth comes out after you arrive. there will be more

Nikko wasn't offered by any other power 5 team, not even by any other Div 1 school. I think i recall he wasn't offered by any Div. 2 teams. Frost is desperate and talks way too much with only crappy coaching.
He wasn't even a stater at JUCO. Was offered by Kansas Wesleyan, Fort Hayes State, Pittsburgh State, and Nebraska.

247 shows that he received an offer from Nebraska and Maryland, but no other Power 5 teams. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that he didn't make it here.
