He doesn’t like that his son was passed on the depth chart last year, most parents wouldn’t.

However, can anyone actually say Warner deserved to play more? He has had all sorts of opportunities and did nothing with them.

As a father of a lot of boys that play sports I understand his actions; however anyone with eyes could see his kid had no speed, no quickness, average hands (missed wide open TD opportunity this year).

Sounds like dad doesn’t want to admit that his son dropped 2 TD passes. The OSU was a bullet but the PSU was a gift that Ray Charles would have caught. Sometimes in life you get one or two opportunities, can’t choke them away.

Sad to see it end like this, but safe to say Kade was killing it at WR this would be different.

He was better as a redshirt freshman year and definitely regressed by his Junior year...

Kurt later commented that he dropped 2 passes and 1 he SHOULD have caught. Kurt also added that creates the narrative about his son not being able to catch. He is super bitter understandably. But I can’t blame frost for not playing hmm unless what Frost preaches isn’t followed by certain guys and they still play. Good kids like Kade usually get angry when they do the right things but are passes by guys like Fleming who maybe don’t and then leave.

I seem to recall 2 key TD passes thrown directly at him in the end zone bounce off his face mask. I think we're going to be ok.

I do think this situation alludes to how this staff has issues with who to play and how they grade people. Like Frost before the season mentioned how Luke graded out almost the same as Martinez in fall camp. So you figure Luke is going to be a decent qb. Then we watch him play and it’s like how can he grade the same when it’s not even close? What grading system are you using if Luke graded out the same? We all sit here and say Luke is not a qb when he transferred but frost has proof that he graded out exactly the same as Adrian. It doesn’t make any sense.

A lot of highly respected football people don’t have a lot of good things to say about Frost

like it or not Mike Riley is a highly respected coach in football circles. People understood he wasn’t a good fit and understood Neb had to move on - but Frost’s shots at him in the opening press conferences pissed a lot of long time football people off.

when asked to give an opinion about Neb and Frost they are anything but glowing

you can now add the Warner’s to the Speilmans and mccaffreys along with those in the game who respect Riley who have very little good to say about the program under frost

I don't think he regressed. He was never very talented and never made an impact.

2018- 95 rec yards, 0 TD
2019- 101 rec yards, 0 TD
2020- 40 rec yards 0 TD

Kurt Warner thinks the NFL playoffs should be indoors only. That would make the games more fair.

He had 17 catches for 95 yards and no touchdowns in 8 games his redshirt freshman year. That’s five and a half yards per catch lol.

He was never good. The fact that he was ever on the field said more about the failure of the scholarship WRs on the team than it did about his ability.

The best thing that could be said was that he was always in the place he was supposed to be and was a good blocker. I think he did in fact have pretty good hands but that alone doesn't make you a starter on 99% of college teams. Sad to see him go though.

He missed a couple TD's but it's pretty easy to lose concentration when you don't trust your QB's to get you the ball.
So, he dropped those passes because he wasn't expecting them to hit him right in the hands?

What in the hell does Riley have to do with any of this? I dont think your hate is because you are a fan of another program, it is based in your fandom of Riley. You related to him fanboy?

Let's not make the case that any Nebraska WR hasn't been underutilized the last 2 years. If your skill set is to be a nice little slot WR I can see where your last year you want to go someplace you'll actually get catches.

He also had some bad drops, no way around it.

Right? That has to be the lamest excuse I’ve ever heard.

The kid is a D1 WR and dropped TD passes you expect a JH kid to catch. The fact that the team struggled to throw the ball makes catching those passes even more important.

If Frost was winning nobody would care about this notion. Look at Saban and Urb. They’re not the most liked guys but they win. Perhaps those fathers you listed carry more of an entitlement because of their accomplishments. They have the name and connections to get their sons to other schools.

I used to be a big fan of Warner but no more now that his Dad is so bitter and hateful. Nebraska gave his son a scholarship and elected him a team captain. And such gratitude now being shown by poppa Warner. Now I'm very glad to see the Warners gone. Good riddance to ungrateful elitists.

I think these fathers (Dale and Kurt) should lay off Twitter a bit. Ed doesn’t interact with fans and that’s the way it should be. Ed is also really busy running his program.

Plus the people he listed aren’t actually out there bashing Frost. Like Warner said, his kid was buried on the depth chart and wants a place to play. McCaffrey is in the same boat. Haven’t seen a single negative comment from either about Frost, But the male nurse is very well connected, so I’m sure he has spoken to them personally.

Hold on a minute. Everybody in this room bitches constantly about Frosts lack off deep throws. Now you want to bash a kid for only have 95 yards on 17 catches. Maybe thats because Frost dont call deep passes. How many of those 17 went for 1st downs? I ask that not knowing but since you want to bash the 17 catches then I figured you would at least know what they went for. How many WR had great stats under Frost? None. Absolutely none. Looking at that film in this thread, it looked like he got open downfield in practices. But that was against our weak *** DBs.
