Frost sticking with Adrian is like going to dinner with Jeffrey Dahmer and being surprised when you realize you’re the dinner.

McCaffrey's not suited up. Who else is there if you have any chance to win the game. The Defense deserves better from this offense.

Transfer Portal QB will never happen and that is a 1000% guarantee that can be taken to the bank.

Who do you even want? Seriously. I see this all the time and would love to know who you guys think is available that would be a huge upgrade over what we have. The only intriguing guy I see out there is the Virginia Tech guy, Hendon Hooker.

He doesn't necessarily have to be better than what we have. Just get someone here who can be a second string qb so we can get McCaffrey on the field instead of rotting away on the bench.

Are’t you forgetting about Smothers? No reason why McCaffery couldn’t be used in another capacity offensively..

That would leave us with two serviceable qb's... You need at minimum 3, and likely want more.

I hope players don't view this site. What a bunch of armchair losers. Maybe it might be the QB coach and not the QB's.

My math tells me Haarberg would be the 3rd...
Unless you think Harry Potter has missed judged talent at QB in this class..

Haarberg has a lot of upside from a physical standpoint, but he has to catch up on the mental side. He's about as raw as it gets and I don't think he'll be ready to contribute meaningful snaps next year.

For clarity, I think the post was written during the early struggles against Rutgers in that context. Adrian redeemed himself after that.

I agree there’s plenty of finger pointing that could be directed at the QB coach.
I still don’t excuse a lot of Adrian’s struggles that fall squarely on his shoulders, and playing for Nebraska means accepting the expectations of excellence.... anything less would be plain ā€œloser status.ā€

All that aside, armchair loser status accepted on my end.

This was written at halftime of the Rutgers game. If you were happy or content during that timeframe you need to be drug tested!

it's all bout martinez in 2021

I'm gonna buy a inner tube and a drone, and fly it around ten foot off the ground
and martinez will be able to throw it thru it, between 2 and 50 yards

I wonder what Taylor Martinez is doing these days? Maybe he is the person starting these anti Adrian Martinez posts so he can be remembered as the better Martinez QB

Well neither was Smothers this year and he didn’t even sniff a snap.. no difference from this year from next year..

I'm back on the Martinez band wagon. Sure he threw a pass or two a little high or a little late, or missed an open receiver who ran right into that little blind spot in our vision we all learned about in 8th grade science now and then. Hey, it happens. If we replace a couple of spots in the line with better size, strength and balance (and a touch of nasty) (i.e., certain seniors don't come back) and perhaps with the 3rd time around being a charm for our center snaps, we upgrade at a couple of more receiver positions, find a way to work Luke into a hybrid position, put a little stickum on AMs non throwing hand, we never ever open another game throwing a swing pass 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage and he spends plenty of time this offseason taking all sorts of Rorschach tests and other mental exercises to make sure his mind is ready for the rigors of the BIG 10 conference next year, I say why not jump aboard?
