They obviously haven't because we haven't won. I don't know how you can say the defense is doing their jobs when they're ranked in the 70's and we're 2-5.

Because they have provided more than enough stops. Listen, our D is nowhere close to getting us a title, but they have provided more than enough.

Illinois and OSU were awful games, but in those other games a lot of the points they scored had to do with short fields from either offensive or special teams blunders. We knew coming in that teams may score a little, but the hope was that we would rack up a lot of points with Scott's offensive scheme. Essentially if we could score 28 points a game, which in college football is not that many points, we would currently be 6-2. Think about that.

As much as we want to bash on Chins, he got us some stops. Hell even in the OSU game until it snowballed, our D was performing at an OK level.

Great analysis.... To add to that. Nebraska has scored 17 twice and 13 and 20 in games. Even if the defense held to 20 or less we would still lose.... You know why??? Wait for it..... Our offense is pathetic... It isn't that hard to score 28 in football these days. The rules favor the offense. 28PPG is awful and should be easily achievable. Like I said, our D isn't great, but has done more than enough to get us wins this year.

Bill Callahan at least won a few games, even some winning seasons and wins against ranked opponents. Probably better to compare Frost to either Riley or Bill Jennings.
