The explanation of why they didn’t get the backward pass reviewed is even more ridiculous. You were planning your next offensive play and suddenly Illinois’s offense was on the field snapping the ball?

You have to do whatever it takes to get that play reviewed - it was huge! Granted NU proceeded to play so horribly that it probably didn’t matter, but nobody knew that at the time.
I am pretty sure when the Illinois offense took the field there was a delay for some reason so I figured they would then have time to buzz down for the review. That didn't even happen. The call on the field was wrong and it was like the review crew wasn't ready to do their job yet. They stop play to review minor plays but they didn't stop play for a turnover?

Of course the replay booth crapped the bed, but Frost needs to do whatever it takes to get that play reviewed. His explanation was lame.
