He took over a depleted roster coming off a 3-8 year and went 4-7 in year one. Throw that out and he went 24-14. Good enough for LSU to come knocking.
As a suffering KU fan, if we could get Miles...you do it IMO!!!
And Charlie Weis inherited a .500 Notre Dame team and took them to 2 BCS Bowls his first 2 years there.
KU Football is like Nebraska Basketball without the great facilities and fan support. Les Miles won't have any clue how to recruit and win somewhere with no resources or recruiting base. He won't have SEC tradition or Boone Pickens to help him at KU. He won't be able to hire the top assistants like he could at LSU.
If I'm hiring a coach at a place like KU, I'd be trying to hire the brightest young offensive minded coach I can find. Seth Littrell at North Texas seems like a no-brainer - he started his coaching career at KU and runs a dynamic offense at UNT.
