And the annual coaching carousel is underway. Round and round she goes. Who's going to be next to get the boot?

The pressure will now start to build on schools to get the firings underway so they can get a jump on other schools needing new coaches.

And the agents of hot up and comers are licking their chops.

Maybe they're trying to get Les Miles before KU or someone else? Les was an assistant coach there, and would seem to be a good fit in Boulder.

LOL who's gonna go coach that dumpster fire of a program? Wash rinse repeat.

True but the PAC 12 is weak. USC and UCLA are down. Washington has underachieved and pretty much maxed out their potential. Oregon I guess is the strongest team and they are weak compared to the top tier teams in the SEC, Big 10 and ACC.

2009 Assistant Coach of the Year - as a defensive coordinator. May be he could consult for us during a transition year

Yeah and number 44 (I believe) douche who cost us two wins this year.

Antonio Reed costed Nebraska the Colorado game on that 3 and 24 or 25 with that personal foul that doesn’t happen we win regardless if Bunch was our QB at the end of the game..
Troy game I would agree with losing 2AM costed us that game..

If they yank the rug out from under Mac nobody is going to want that job. He was a Buff all the way through and probably has done as good of a job as they could hope for in this day and age. Don't care for the way he handled the AM purposeful injury but the guy was one of their own. Interesting.

Leavitt would probably take it. And maybe Bieniemy.

MacIntyre had no previous history with Colorado before he became the head coach. It was the HC between him and Hawkins (Jon Embree) who was a CU guy.

Eric Bieniemy is the Chiefs Offensive coord and could be a possibility but he isn’t giving up the coordinator job till KC is out of the playoffs..

Don’t know if the Buffs could afford that with recruiting..

This doesn't make any sense to me at all, but man, how great would it be to be able to land one of these jobs then get told to hit the pavement, with your full salary, and not even have to finish the job?

I think we need to be teaching our kids how to become average D1 football coaches. Great work if you can get it, and lose it!!!!!!

Makes me think the AD already has the next coach lined up. That's why I think it could be Les Miles, he is friends with the AD and a former CU assistant. With the rumors about Miles and KU, it would explain why he fired Mac now instead of waiting until the end of the season.

The NCAA had something to do with that. Cheater Buffaloes.

Yes they did he was accused of running a slush fund for future recruits and their families...

Nebraska lost in Lincoln 7-0 and the Huskers didn’t make a first down or complete a pass.. Jennings days were over after that dreadful game in Lincoln..

I’m sure Charlie McBride has a few stories about that game..

A latter-day Greg McDermott.
