All jokes aside, we should be excited when a walk-on finds his way in to the rotation. Walk-ons are one of the major reasons NU had so much success back in the day. I have no clue what Kade’s game is like but you’d assume he can play if he’s seeing time early at our most talented position.
I have no clue what Kade’s game is like but I won’t doubt a man who’s starting at our most talented position. I would love to see another story like Hunter Renfrow, the Clemson star WR. Those stories have always been expected at Nebraska!
Loved his dad. And have a lot of respect for his work ethic. Seeing a walk on have success is always gratifying.
Read AMarts comments. Warner is assignment sound and blocks. Frosts offense will look more like it did at UCF when more players play like Warner.

He can block downfield. Mike Williams is a legit vertical threat, but he can't block air.
While Frost's offense needs speed to be at its best, it needs people to get to the right places more than anything else both for spreading the field and getting some blocking downfield to keep the integrity of the running game and give big plays a chance.
Looks to have good hands, good feet and body control to go with sharp routes, and you have to love a kid whose dad's in the HOF and is willing to walk-on here and earn his spot, and does so even after the coaching change.
He buys in, loves football, and has a big heart for the game. Winking
Warner came to NU for several reasons. First was their respect for Mike Riley and the opportunity to play in a pro-style offense. Second IMO was our tradition of frequently having walk ons play. The most impressive things to me are how he's stuck it out with the coaching change and how he's worked his way up the depth chart. He's a big strong kid who just does things the right way.
I'd like to see Reimers get more playing time. He's tall and has decent speed and hands. I'd like to see more receivers like that who can get open just by physical abilitiy rather than all the 5'10 receivers we have who have to be excellent route runners just to get open.
It's like having another coach on the field. He clocks in every day, rolls up his sleeves and really brings his lunch pail to work. He's got a motor and a lot of want-to. All heart.
I don't normally say this about wide receivers, but he's a real road grader too.

So a 5'10" receiver like Antonio Brown cant get open because of his physical abilities?
And I think we have enough big *** TEs that are tall and cant seem to get open with all their "physical abilities".

Our Coach loves him because he is a real hard nosed, old school, blue collar guy that carries a lunch pail while running perfect routes with sneaky speed and an intelligence to always be in the right place at the right time to use his fantastic hands to catch the football and move the chains when a big play is needed, which justifies the superior accountability and leadership that his family instilled in him.
Our 5'10" receivers aren't athletic compared to the type of guy Antonio Brown is. Having a tall receiver who can go up for the ball opens up a ton of possibilities in the college game. Reimers is much faster than our TEs. And yet you saw in last week's game Stoll brought in a touchdown pass in a lot of traffic where there wasn't really even a window there.
So OK, I like the kid, he is a walk on and they are always heroes in Husker Land. Someone tell me what "sneaky fast" really is. I know what fast is what the heck is sneaky fast? I can guarantee you that he doesn't "sneak" up on DB's. The big question I have is why didn't the coaches notice him before now? Its not like he just arrived or something. From what I read it was like, hey maybe he can do something and all of the sudden he is starting. How the heck does that happen. Oh, I bet that sneaky stuff was just sitting there being sneaky and then it blew up.
With the views on TV, we really don't see all of the pass routes but this guy is obviously Dr. Route reincarnated. He has the speed, footwork and hands to be a legend, I am guessing 3rd round by now, maybe free agent but he will be "in the league" as they say.
Really, I do like the kid and the story and I hope he makes tons of catches in the years he is here and helps win some games and eventually he doesn't have to sneak up on anyone.

If you cannot or won't block, it doesn't matter your ability.
