I'm calling my shot here. We will win all of the games we aren't supposed to win and the losses will come the week after the big games (letdowns). I see NU walking into Columbus and handing a beat down to tOSU on their home field. Calling for 9-10 wins in year 1. I also see NU winning the West Division this year as well.

Pretty much this. If I had to bet, I'd bet on 7-5.

Welp, I'd still say 7-5 as long as Martinez stays healthy (big if). If he misses time, 5 wins becomes a possibility. Ugh!

Im not saying Iowa doesn't move the volt meter. Im saying Wisc moves in more and there is more to play for usually with Wisc. If there is more to play for, it tends to motivate people more. Iowa is becoming a rivalry, due to close proximity, that is about it.

I assume because they're funny. It shows what a bunch of meatballs there are on this board predicting the kind of year that would send Nebraska to the CCG when in reality they're going to have their work cut out for them to make it to 2 wins.

I suppose, but I would think bringing up 1 or 2 would be funny. Bringing up 4 or 5 is just cruel.

I predicted we would win 8 or 9 this year. So did a bunch of others. Are we all "meatballs" because we thought this team had talent that had been poorly coached, but that Frost would turn that around quickly? An overly optimistic view of Frost's "powers" as a coach ... yes. Guilty as charged. But meatballs?? lol.

But I do hand it to you Beav. These were both hysterical and painful to read at the same time. So much koolaid was consumed!

Well, in Beav's defense I do think these are funny.
But in criticism I would just say I hope Beav's posting record is utterly pristine in its predictive accuracy. Otherwise, kind of hypocritical to call people who got this wrong "meatballs".

To be fair even the real "experts" didn't see this **** storm coming.

I am not talking record. We have had about 1000 of those posts. Im talking everything else nebraska football. Give me one big prediction you think will happen by year end.
I predict Nebraska will beat Wisconsin this year.

Mine could still come true. If it does, after the way things started this year. I should freaking go buy some lottery tickets.
