Not "loser" but loser as in the person who will lose is who has to watch it. It was a sarcastic jab at what may be an ugly football game. See my other reply on the 2004 6-4 Iowa victory over PSU.WhyThat is like saying any Penn St fans watching the tOSU/ Michigan is a loser..
There both in our division why wouldn’t you watch this game...

I’d take it in a heartbeat. First one to 20 wins. We will find out if Iowa’s defense is elite or fake.Yeah. This might be the most boring game of the day. 10-7 Iowa at home type game?
I think that is the key. Wisconsin has that big line and a good run game. If Iowa can slow that down I like their chances. I hope Iowa kicks the snot out of Wisconsin. Not because I hate Wisconsin (I don't) but because they are the current beasts of the West and need to be brought down a peg or two. And since they lost to BYU last week, it would be sweet to see them lose two weeks in a row.I’d take it in a heartbeat. First one to 20 wins. We will find out if Iowa’s defense is elite or fake.
It was a joke! Nothing more than that... he isn’t saying it will really suck to watch that game, and anybody who does is a loser. What’s that score have to 16 years later tomorrow ?
O/U is at 42 1/2.. Vegas is quessing 23-20 game hardly boring...
I know how you feel. Even if Nebraska was the second rated team in the nation and needed PSU to beat, say #1 OSU, I could never, ever, ever cheer for PSU. That will not happenNow that I have been living in enemy territory for the last 9 years, my perspective has changed on some things.
Whenever I watch conference foes going against each other, it is increasingly difficult for me to enjoy watching those games. Instead of picking a team and rooting for them because it might help the huskers, more often than not, I root against the team who’s fans annoy the crap out of me. Living in Minnesota, I can’t bring myself to root for them. At all. I worked with Iowa fan up here as well. I can’t root for Iowa. Even if an Iowa victory means Nebraska has a better shot at the west division crown.
This game should be a fun game to watch. But I can’t enjoy it unless Iowa loses. Even if it hurt the huskers’ chances in the West.
I need some help.
We won’t know anything more about Iowa’s Defense until they play Penn State. Wisconsin doesn’t appear to have a great Offense. That BYU loss took most the luster off Wisconsin. Unfortunately for Iowa’s credibility, they only play 1 of the big 4 in the East.I’d take it in a heartbeat. First one to 20 wins. We will find out if Iowa’s defense is elite or fake.

I guess I don’t buy that we won’t know how good a defense/offense is after 4-7 games. You can’t fake an outstanding defense/offense for 4-7 games. We won’t know anything more about Iowa’s Defense until they play Penn State. Wisconsin doesn’t appear to have a great Offense. Nothing will ever rival the 6-4 victory Iowa had over Penn State in 2004. Two fields goals > two safeties...
6-4
Never understood why Iowa fan tries to defend a weak schedule. Might make more sense just to accept that all Iowa can do is beat the teams on the schedule and let the chips fall where they may.I guess I don’t buy that we won’t know how good a defense/offense is after 4-7 games. Its like watching the paint dry hopefully Iowa wins even though they suck there friendly genuine good people compared to the hippie jump around Wisconsin badgers which actually looks a lot like Oregon st beaver
Definitely NOT as exciting as a 70-31 game. Also not as exciting as a 56-14 or a 40-10 game.

Who was defending a schedule? I’m talking about any team in the country. You’re gonna know how good your parts are before your 8th game, that’s all there is to it.Never understood why Iowa fan tries to defend a weak schedule. Iowa has a chance at one good win (Wisconsin) and one great win (Penn State) during regular season play. Very few outside of Iowa will be buying in until and unless Iowa wins at penn state. Remember the “fake id” season of 2015, very similar schedule.

And the second one was intentional. Ballsy, to say we’re putting you w/in a fg, but you won’t be able to do itNothing will ever rival the 6-4 victory Iowa had over Penn State in 2004. Two fields goals > two safeties...

Good luck against Bethune Cookman!
