My mistake. Those glaring mistakes are obviously the difference between a typical 7-8 win Iowa team and an 11 win Iowa team. Thank you for clearing that up.
If Iowa wins 11 as opined above I'll be shocked.
9 is the ceiling with 7-8 being more likely. LB is the big ?

WEST
1. Nebraska - 10-2 (7-2) L = Michigan, OSU
2. Iowa - 10-2 (7-2) L = Nebraska, Wisky/NW?
3. Wisconsin - 9-3 (6-3) L = Nebraska, UM, Iowa/Other?
Purdue leads the also-rans
EAST
1. Ohio State - 11-1 (8-1) L = MSU/Michigan/Surprise?
2. Michigan State - 10-2 (7-2) L = Nebraska, OSU/PSU?
3. Michigan - 10-2 (7-2) L = MSU, OSU/Surprise?
Penn State leads the also-rans with a 9-3 (6-3) season.

We lose the OSU rematch in the CCG. Maybe.

May have to change my opinion of OSU's chances this year.

Michigan State will not win the east. Yes, they have a lot of starters returning. But if you look at their schedule last year you will see the lucked out in a couple of games. They have not recruited at the level of Ohio State and Michigan or even PSU.

Right...MSU can't recruit at the level of PSU or UM....but MSU has gone 3-1 vs both schools in the last 4 years.

East
1. Michigan- Defense wins championships and they will finally have a QB on offense.
2. Ohio State- will lose to Michigan
3. Michigan State- Won't sneak up on anyone this year, and might have to play huskers at night later in season which would = a loss.
4. Penn State- We will find out how good Franklin is at developing a defense because they lost a lot from last year.
5. Indiana- They will upset someone this year, and will be better on offense.
6. Maryland- Will be better this year but their in the East
7. Rutgers- continue to be the norm

West
1. Wisconsin- will be very good on offense and reload on defense
2. Iowa- Will be solid, but I think teams with good running game will be able to move the ball on them this year (weak at DT, LB)
3(tie) Purdue- I think they will be very good on offense, defense will be solid by end of season.
3(tie) Northwestern- Will be similar to last years team
3(tie) Nebraska- I don't think anyone knows what to expect. Coaching matters and Nebraska didn't have that last year and it will this year. If it wasn't for their tough schedule I would have picked them at #2.
6. Row the damn boat- Their coach is a clown
7. Illinois- I don't think it will help having Santa look alike for HC this year either.

Don't feel bad about your predictions, husker fans. Apparently the talking head at BTN were fooled too.
