If I were the incoming coach I might figure that the guy had some difficulty, took a break to do some soul-searching, and has decided to come back to a school (not a coach) with his head straight. I would welcome him back and not be surprised if he became one of the most committed, hard workers on the team. If not, I could deal with it down the road.

I have a feeling the William's are staying with the new staff and that's probably why KJJ is still thinking about coming back to Lincoln.

No way would Frost go back on the Nebraska commitment to a kid, let alone such a high profile kid. I welcome his calibraska energy! Every body deserves a second chance.

I feel the same way. I'm not sure this is a fit made in heaven without the commitment we need our players to have going forward.
How do you feel about Bo keeping Gregory around after multiple failed tests. Is that on Eichorst? Did he force Bo to do it?

I don't think anyone who made that "promise" is still employed by the University of Nebraska, whether it was Riley or Eichorst. I could be wrong on that, since he did get caught smoking hippie lettuce in the dorms maybe there is some agreement with someone in the administration who doesn't deal with the football team.

I don't think it would happen either, but I really think there would be little to no backlash if it were to happen.
Hippie Lettuce :)

Do I smell a Coach Dub retention? He's certainly one assistant you can argue has earned the right to be there through talent acquisition. Great numbers for Morgan, great numbers for Spielman.

Like to see more consistency catching the piggy but he can't look it in for them. Even on Sundays you see some drops from guys just taking their eyes off the ball.

I'm fine with him staying. I'm fine with him leaving but given the rumors on who is coming from UCF, I will be surprised if we don't retain the Ws and Parella at least. It also wouldn't surprise me to see Bray stay in some capacity if he wants. Bray is going to have other offers as will Donte.

I may be one of the few who remember this guy even at USC. I thought he was a perfect fit for them and that's not a compliment. Great player with gigantic mouth. Some things don't change. I'm sure his son wishes he'd let him speak for himself.

He was a tremendous competitor and no more mouth in college than Stanley Morgan.

Well we did throw it almost exclusively in the 2nd half of every game because we were down by 3 touchdowns... but don't let that sway your opinion.
